If the goal is to have a trim attractive body at this point I think you would get more out of a progressive lifting routine. Do it for a year. Bouncy scales is normal, give or take five pounds. It’s not a reflection of your effort.

I vote for caffeine first and if not that it might be an over aggressive fitness routine. Try three days a week with rest in between. Rest days might be yoga. Not the hot yoga.

With so few calories to play with you will have to be creative. Being diabetic skipping snacks was not an option but I kept them to 100 calories each. Half a protein bar was about perfect in the afternoon. Breakfast was important and so was my afternoon snack. I put my calories there. Lunch was less important so I would…

First of all, @mdtb8 mentioned an ichy throat and coughing when she ate raw honey. She came back with additional information that indeed she has a pollen allergy. From itching to swelling to anaphylactic shock are just baby steps away. Proof that for some people, a touted superfood should be avoided. Because for her, it’s…

Some veggie haters start with corn. https://www.thesun.ie/fabulous/3412451/mans-genius-hack-for-eating-corn-on-the-cob-goes-viral/

A second vote for roasted root vegetables. Peel them, cube them, drizzle with olive oil and a little salt. Don’t pack them too tight on the pan. For easy clean up line the pan with parchment paper.

I think you are allergic to honey. This is very dangerous for you and I suggest you avoid it altogether. I suspect you have a pollen allergy and it might be worthwhile to go for testing to find out what you are allergic to. As for the relative benefits of all the sweeteners, they all have the same effect on the body.…

When I went no salt for a month I switched to very fresh very flavourful vegetables. Salt hides a multitude of sins. Try sharper flavoured veggies like parsnip. When you learn to make your own sauce bases (not that hard, just takes a time) the world is your oyster. Onions and garlic are great flavour enhancers. Take a day…

I am a type 2 and I would find it very difficult to keep to such a low carb plan. It can be done though. Consider veggies to be a garnish size rather than a full serving. Your meals will be high protein and moderate fat. Think large chicken breast size for portioning. Focus your breakfast I suggest, on eggs. Eggs are…

Lots of great ideas above. Buy meats on sale and in bulk. I have a meatball recipe that can also be used to make meatloaf. There is just two of us but I still buy the family pack of hamburger and I make up all my meatballs and meatloaf in a single session. I freeze the meatloaf raw and cook the meatballs the same day and…

Anecdotal? I do not recall that effect. How much are you drinking daily?

Use frozen banana as your base. Then you’ll like your smoothies better. Just experiment. Use a simple base recipe and just add one new thing each time. Take notes of what works. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.geniuskitchen.com/amp/recipe/frozen-banana-smoothie-217138

Are you hungry midway through the night? Then your dinner might not be substantial enough, or you might have to change your macros for that meal. Fat has satiation power for some, others high fiber. The fat has to be weighed carefully though. Try an egg.

Another vote for Katie’s brownies. Never dry.

Good to hear! The foods I mentioned are calorie dense so you don’t have to eat so much to reach your goal.

Easy. Fried potatoes. I peel and cube them, dry them with a towel, toss them in a bag with flour and spices. Actifry with a tablespoon of oil. If you want, do the same thing with sweet potatoes.

Welcome. All I can do is offer tips. Feel free to ditch any that don’t work. - my daughter was nauseous all through her pregnancy. She resorted to carrying soda crackers everywhere. If her stomach got too empty her nausea was worse. - Are there any smells that are appealing? Try triggering your appetite with smells. - Try…

When I was a supervisor I fielded complaints about how people smelled, and a notable complaint that a deaf employee made too much noise when she ate. My private assessment is that everyone has to cut others some slack. How can a deaf employee know if she was eating quietly? I told the complainant to let it go. Peoples…

You might try a coffee with an energy bar.

Thumbs up for the chicken salsa.

Eat originals. Edamame bean pods, baby carrots, cheese sticks. Check out the frozen vegetable section. All fruit. Cottage cheese. Pre-made salads. Add rolls of ham, boiled eggs. Eat olives and lupini beans straight from the jar. Wraps are neat and tidy. Refried beans come in a can; throw in some shredded cheese and bell…

All great ideas. If you are stuck eating out then here are some strategies: Eat half. Restaurant portions are about double what you need. Skip the fries or sub for salad. For each fast food place plan the best option. Wendy’s half size chilli salad is pretty good.

Sleep. To keep this from being an either-or proposition I would squeeze in exercise during work, like doing some stair runs during lunch.

Gosh, I hope that Zakiyah has figured it out by now.

If you want to try a different hot cereal you can try cream of wheat or Red River cereal. But I suspect the warm mushy texture is unappealing to you. Oatmeal is touted because of the high soluble fiber content. It’s considered heart healthy. Chia is similarly high in soluble fiber. Try it soaked in milk overnight. Or you…

Yeah, yoga and/or Pilates.

The prep time held me back for a long time too. Then I learned a trick from a good friend recovering from a heart attack (mega lifestyle change). He cut his veggies in the morning and cooked them in the evening. Like you, I’m not my brightest in the evening. Having all the prep time done, I can handle ten minutes or less I…

Just a fun fact. Being a hot country it’s important to consume enough salt to replenish what is lost from sweating. So salty, yes.
