Mrs Dash is the best!!! I have all the different flavors and I seriously use it on everything.

I use a wooden paddle brush from Aveda. It's awesome!

It is less taxing on the body to create a deficit by eating less. Exercising too much, especially in the beginning is why many burn out. I would create your deficit with your diet and do a moderate amount of cardio, no more than 3 times/week. Strength training, while it doesn't burn as many calories as cardio, is the most…

Breakfast makes me more hungry throughout the day so I skip it. Instead I will have an early lunch around 11 or wait until after my workout at 2pm to eat. Breakfast is not necessary. If you would like to continue eating a morning meal I would suggest: 6 egg whites .5 serving of shredded cheese 40g of old fashioned oatmeal…

Meal timing is not necessary to lose weight. All you need is a caloric deficit. You can eat all 1900 calories in two meals if you'd like. I lost the majority of my weight eating two large meals daily and skipping breakfast -- Leangains intermittent fasting. Eat your meals in the most convenient way for you!

Do yourself a favor and avoid the smith machine at all costs... I seriously cringe anytime I see someone doing squats on that thing.

Everyday... first thing in the morning nude, after using the restroom.

I work double shifts at a restaurant on Saturdays and Sundays -- each day working 13-14 hours. For those days I allow myself an extra 200-400 calories. On other days I stick to 1200 but that is just too difficult when I'm working around food for that long. The extra calories I allow myself aren't for the extra activity…

I'm 5'3 and I'm currently at 146 hoping to get down to 135.

I'm 5'2, 28 years old, currently weigh about 147 and wear a size 6. I'd like to be about 135 and would probably wear a 4. I'm very muscular and can't imagine weighing anything under 125-130... don't think it would look healthy on me personally.

Peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter... OMG NUT BUTTERS

I lost the majority of my weight on a 1200 calorie diet... It works until you can no longer maintain it. The leaner I got the hungrier I became. I had to bump up my calories because I started to binge every weekend. 1200 calorie diets are great when you have a lot of weight to lose and you have the discipline to stick to…

4... yes, 4 Quest bars... I will NEVER buy them again. Am I the only one with zero self control when it comes to those things?
-
I use both to mix up my workouts... I do Barbell Flat Bench and Incline Bench and then I will do HS Incline Press later to burn out. They are both great, although if I had to choose just one I would go for free weights any day of the week!

Not really chubby girl confessions but... I wear three sports bras every time I go to the gym. One of my boobs is bigger than the other one and I don't want anyone to notice so I just smash them flat... plus I hate when they bounce while I do cardio. Oh, and sometimes I wear tank tops without shaving my pits that day.…

Intermittent fasting is how I do it... I do the leangains version. I only have an 8 hour eating window each day (noon-8pm). By skipping breakfast I can have two large meals and a snack or two. It's genius. That way I get to feel really full at least twice a day. It keeps me sane. For about a month I upped my calories to…

Why is "Resistance of 8" such a mystery to you all?? She was on an elliptical... you can adjust the workload/resistance.

I'm American but my heritage is a mixture of Russian, Irish, French, and Native American.

I've been known to camp out at MY squat rack for an hour as well... luckily my gym has four of them, but I only consider one of them mine. OP, next time just ask how many sets they have left or if you can work in... most people won't mind at all. Any time someone is doing one of the major lifts like bench, squats, deads,…

Unless you have a wheat or gluten allergy, there is nothing wrong with eating bread. If eating bread fits into your daily calorie goals then I wouldn't give it a second thought. The current gluten and wheat hysteria is ridiculous.

American here... although the metric system would be more practical to implement I think we'd all lose our minds if they did away with imperial. When I read posts on MFP by people using stones or kg I always have to bust out the calculator and convert my weight to those units to try to relate, or vice versa. I do like the…
