  • It's a journey. Not a destination. I believe a healthier lifestyle is something you are constantly striving for. There will be good times and bad. Sometimes you'll make the best decisions and sometimes you won't. What matters is you're always striving to achieve good health.
  • Too many carbs and not enough protein. Lot's of snacks but not a lot of complex carbs, green leafy veggies and protein.
  • Spin classes are great for calorie burning. The classes I take usually burn 500-600 calories for a 45 minute class.

  • I've taken the batteries out and thrown them away to stop weighing. Only to find myself at the store the next morning buying new batteries. Maybe we should start a Scale Junkies Anonymous group.
  • Bootcamp 5 days each week for 60 minutes.
  • I attend bootcamp with an Apex Certified Nutrition Specialist, a kineseologist and we have weekly meetings with a dietician. It is your personal decision rather you choose to eat your exercise calories or not. Point being, your deficit increases each day you do not choose to eat them. For women, most of us do not count…
  • I'm with you Shannon. I just hung up the phone ordering pizza for the family. I have a chicken salad I'm going to eat and planned to have a slice of pizza too. I think I need to reconsider. • There are no quick fixes to weightloss. If you lose 10 pounds in a week, trust me, you will see it again. I am a reformed crash dieter and every diet I tried has worked for me but I always gain it back. You can't sustain that type of eating (at least us normal people can't) and its doing your body more harm than good. Slow…

  • Stock up on 100 calorie snacks (Lorna Doone cookies are great) to have at times like these. You really just want something sweet now that you've seen it. This would help fight that craving. Good luck!
