I had PF in both my feet a few years ago at the same time. I could hardly walk on mine, exercising was not an option. I had to go to the foot doctor. With the orthotics he gave me, stretching exercises, and two rounds of steroid shots, they finally got better. Thank God it never came back, but I make sure I do the…

Hi Everyone, Iam 60. I lost 90 lbs from Jan 2016 to September and and fell, no I jumped off the wagan during the holidays and gained a good amount back. I am back on for a couple weeks now and down 12 lbs. Iam ready to get serious again and back on this journey to reaching my goal. I have about 100 lbs more to lose. Glad…

Hi, It really is helpful to me. I use it all the time. But, unfortunately, you really will need to measure out the whole pot of soup for the size of portion you think you will be eating each time. If I was you, I would measure out how many cups of soup is in the pot. Then when you eat, you can put in your diary say for…

I know how you can feel that way. I started this journey weighing 316 lbs. There were days I didn't want to go out of the house, let alone move around in front of alot of people. Was it because of what others thought of me? No, I believe its because of what I thought about myself. I thank God I have my job that motivated…

This was one of my biggest problem when I started. So I made a self rule. "If I didn't bring it to work-I don't eat it". I make sure I bring something every day and eat it, for a morning break and a afternoon break. That way I know I wont get hungry and be tempted to give in to the other stuff others have.

Plan ahead. If you fail to plan-you plan to fail. Track everything, weigh everything, measure everything, be patient with yourself, and pray alot. For wisdom, strength, and for great and comitted MFP friends that will support and tell you the truth. Good luck in your weight lost journeys.

Hello Nancy, are your stats so bad for your doctor to threaten you with weight loss surgeon? And you did not fail yourself, you failed a diet. You only fail yourself if you give up and not try again. It took me 20-30 years of "trying again" to get me at my current 85 lb loss since Jan 4th. I also had two sisters that…

Sir, every scale you weigh on will always be different. It's best to only use one scale to calculate your weight and losses. If you use your own scale every morning, that's the only scale you need to worry about.

I pray everyday for the same thing. Keep praying.

I've lost 72 lbs since Jan 4th, with no excercise. I still have 95 lbs to lose and have just started to incorporate walking only.
-
Maybe you need to concentrate more on your diet to start with. Losing weight is said to be 80% diet 20% exercising. Then you can add exercising slowly when you get a good start. I've lost 70 lbs since Jan of this year and have only started to add some walking. Good Luck.

Congrats, you are on your way. You can do this!!

Wow, you are my new "Hero". I've lost 67, but still have 100 more to go. Sonetimes I think that day will never come. Thanks for encouragement today. I needed this today.

We all sometimes either overeat to much of the right things, give in to unhealthy choices, or just blow it sometimes. The secret is ( and it took me many years of dieting, losing, gaining it back to get this into my thick head) that THERE IS NO SECRET...We need to put our less successful moments behind us, drop the guilt,…

You are doing great!! If you only have 28 lbs to lose, it shouldnt take long before you start feeling your clothes getting loser. It wont come off as fast as soneone like me who had over150 lbs to lose (down 62 lbs since Jan). And don't rely on the mirror. It can be very deceiving. As long as that scale is going down just…

You might want to concentrate on eating more protein and stay away from processed sugar for 3-5 days (which includes alcohol). Seems to help the cravings when Iam trying to get back on track. And drink lots and lots of water. I know it's hard. Just keep trying to it sticks. YOU CAN DO THIS !!
