Because I feel so much better since I've been paying attention to my diet and eating (what I think is) a healthy diet. I have more energy during the day. I sleep better at night. Sure, I do miss my old breakfast of two meat, egg and cheese biscuits, but it's just not worth the risk of feeling like I did for so long: unwell.

Most recently, the Terrapin Moo Hoo Chocolate Milk Stout. This is a ****ing phenomenal beer. Get it if you can...while you can...as much as you can; it's a seasonal beer. My regular favorite is pretty much any good IPA. So many brewers are doing this style well now that the list of good IPAs is too long.

6th day w/o a cigarette. 2nd full week of eating well...thanks MFP!. Walked 3+ miles and ran a couple of times without my back killing me. Apparently, walking is good for my lower back (muscles).
