"It's simple, just burn more than you take in" I call BS. It MATTERS how your body works. If I went purely by the numbers....I would weigh 130lbs.

I don't like scary movies that have a religious aspect to them...I dunno...they just creep me out,,especially when there is church music. The Omen still gives me nightmares. I also don't like movies that could happen. Silence of the Lambs...NO. Stupid stuff that's just gory doesn't scare me at all. I can watch Nightmare on…

Ya know I was REALLY frustrated the last couple of weeks. The scale would NOT budge at all. Oh sure it would fluctuate 3-5 lbs throughout the day, but not actually MOVE. I stepped on the scale this morning and BAM...5 lbs lighter than yesterday morning. I did a double take. I stepped off then on again thinking SURELY it…

It's easy to create a meal plan that sticks to 1200 calories. I could create several...but I wouldn't want to eat any of them. REALISTICALLY speaking...If I had to eat the above meal plan continually...I'd quit. I LIKE food. I want to enjoy food. 1200 calories is not enough to eat everyday...just my opinion. Maybe 2-3…

I wouldn't worry about anything else right now but that. Get in a habit of logging...almost obsessively. I would also say the Calorie burn is too high...I've…

Because it works?? I am not a scientist. I just know that when I was eating 1800 calories I was losing, but not what I wanted to...I was only losing about a pound a week and I have 100+ to go so I felt I should be losing more. (3 months) I dropped it to only 1400 calories a day I was NOT losing weight at all. (4-1/2…

YES....THIS. So when you have a 300-500 calorie deficit...you actually have much more than that depending upon what you set up your MFP to calculate. If you set it up for a 2lb a week loss that's 7000 calories a week that you are eating LESS than you need (need to maintain your current weight) I DO agree that you may be…

75 and using a computer ap to lose weight how motivating is that!!! That's AWESOME. I know people my age (44) that can't even figure out how to turn a computer on much less use an ap. :)
