People read too much into the word 'real'. It's not meant literally. It's a nicer, more inclusive and flattering way of saying something like 'everyday' or 'average'. Think of the other times we use this phrase. All the times we say things like 'back to the real world' after looking at some multi-millionaire's mansion etc.…
