If you're eating a healthy diet, getting enough to eat and getting sufficient sleep you shouldn't be tired all the time. Have you been to the doctor? Have you spoken to the doctor about wanting to lose weight?
-
Hey foxyliz, the first thing you need to know is that you can do this. The second thing you need to know is that it doesn't have to be hard. The third thing is that you don't need to eat some crazy faddy diet to lose weight. And the fourth thing is that you've come to the right place to get your lifestyle on track so you…

is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour?

I felt the same way when I started c25k. Fortunately it was January and by the time I was finished work and able to go out it was dark outside - I ran like a ninja...stealthy! Even now when I'm out doing intervals or slow jogging to cool down it feels a bit funny when I see people looking at me. What are they thinking..."I…

don't forget to use the toilets furthest away from your desk for extra exercise!
-
I used to always put them in before, but now I'm pretty comfortable putting them in after. I eat the same things for the most part so I can stay on target without needing to log first.

I did the same in my kitchen. They put the units up as high as the legs would go and I said "higher". After much discussion they did what I asked. The wall units had to go higher as well. Shorties who come to my house are never going to reach the cereal!
-
I've noticed that the mirrors in the toilets in bars / restaurants etc are often mounted on the wall to suit shorties. FFS, I just want to see if I've got spinach between my teeth, I shouldn't have to do squats or lunges to get low enough to use the damn mirror!

IIRC the PHD flapjacks are a lot higher in carbs.
-
Amazon do them, and whey powders / shakes etc as well.

I bought a couple of maximuscle bars in Tesco the other day. 208 cals; 17g carbs, 6g fibre and 22g protein in a 60g bar. Weren't cheap though! I think about £1.80 each. Don't know if that's still too carb-heavy for you. Tasted pretty good and they are very filling.

LOL. Going downstairs and sitting down on the loo are the worst!

I used a bioskin knee support for a while when my knee was really bad. Was able to play volleyball and snowboard with it, couldn't do those activities at all without it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bioskin-Knee-Skin/dp/B005LMYKQC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331229794&sr=8-1

the shred is really tough on your quads. Maybe try a bit more stretching before and after your next session. Most people get over the quad pain after days 3&4.

I really like the Nike Dri-fit range of clothing. You don't get too sweaty in it, regardless of how hard you are working. You can get it at JJB Sports or online in loads of shops and there are loads of different styles/colours to choose from. Shoes-wise, if you are planning on starting to run go to a running shop and get…

I've signed up for the parkrun (my local is Glasgow) but I haven't done one yet. Friday is my rest day so I'm not good at getting up early on a Saturday! I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually!
-
Great job. You must be so proud of yourself!
-
If you're buying weights buy hexagonal ones, not round-edged ones. You'll thank me when you get to L3 of the 30 day shred.
-
You are amazing! Well done!
-
I used to have the same problem. You need to stretch more. Not just after your runs, but at regular intervals during the day and BEFORE every run. 1. Stand on a step with your heels overhanging and gently allow your heels to drop slowly down to stretch your calf then slowly lift your heels back up until you are up on the…

Hailz, you should be so proud of yourself - hard work gets results: you are living proof of that. WTG x 10000000000!!!!

it's true! And it's just like a normal pizza, but smaller. Dominos are quite good at putting their calorie counts on their website, so you can look it up first. http://www.takeafreshlook.co.uk/foodguide.htm Texas BBQ personal pizza is 564 cals (518 with light cheese), full box of potato wedges (officially 2 servings) is…

Sorry, that's not how it works. Exercise first. If you don't earn the calories today then you can't eat them today. And who orders a whole pizza and then only eats 1/4 of it? Do you think we were born yesterday? NO PIZZA FOR YOU! Unless you can burn enough calories in the next 90 minutes to earn it. So now it's up…
-
Ooh, that sounds interesting! Might have to give that a go.
-
mmmm...Dominos Texas BBQ personal pizza with potato wedges and BBQ dip for the wedges - less than 1000 calories. Sorry OP, that's probably not that helpful! You're STILL NOT HAVING ANY!!
-
We have a saying here in Scotland "'I want' disnae (doesn't) get!" You can have a drink of water or a piece of fruit. Which will you have?
-
I already told you. You are NOT having pizza. Don't make me come over there...!
