That is an amazing video! I really like his tip about having fruit and veg around, it's the tweak I've done as I'm also a grazer lol

I was about to say I've started using bio oil on my tummy area when I remember it and I have noticed an improvement on the skin. If that's wishful thinking or if it's actually making a difference I don't know but I know that doing nothing won't work either. I'm back on my fitness regime (so it won't work magically I…

A before and after my weight loss journey. I always look back at it when feeling bad :) 25 kg (55 pounds/15 stone) lost, healthy eating learned and maintaining for the past 4 years or so (with fluctuations)

Gurl you're amazing. Congratulations on the focus and determination! As for other people - take that into your strength as well. You can only be responsible for what you do, other people...it's their own business! Wishing you all the luck and success on your journey and an amazing Christmas. x

Happy to make more friends here. I've been maintaining for the past two years and learned a lot in the long run :)

I had to quit the gym for two weeks after opening my hand whilst making soup (who said weight loss can't be dangerous? lol). I started again this week (and omG it's been TOUGH). I was eating at a deficit and gained half a pound the following week! From what I read, water retention and inflammation are the cause to it. Your…

What I do since I LOVE milk is to get a "dry cappuccino". That means foam, no milk but slashing calories by half (since they use a bit of milk and froth it up).

What you need to do is weight your food before you log. So say you're planning on some pasta. Check the serving size and calorie amount (say you've weight 20g dry pasta) then you add that to your food diary. So the "amount" is set by you. As a rule of thumb, try to follow the eat well plate - half your plate covered in…

Oh I didn't say it wasn't. I just agreed that different food can act on the body differently. Think how research shows that the oil in coconut oil is used by the body as preferred form of energy rather than just fat. http://authoritynutrition.com/top-10-evidence-based-health-benefits-of-coconut-oil/

That's true I think - Chris Pratt said that for his weight loss he was eating crazy amounts of turkey and he wouldn't have protein shakes as they don't provide the same thermogenic effect as actually eating the meat.

HAHAHA "The could you imagine" made me lol. You'd end up with a fiery mouth and a burning stomach XD

This is amazing and so funny. I'm guilty as charged on that - When making salads I end up eating half of it whilst "making" it. I just keep munching on vegetables...I try to not do the same with higher calorie items lol

I went back to weightlifting today...boy it was tough! After splitting my hand open on halloween I think I lost a lot of strength. I was struggling lifting weights about 10kg less than I normally would! But then again, the after feeling was worth it to remind me why I used to enjoy it. I've been doing more classes though…

SNAP! I'm glad I can't bake...I mean, I could but I'm SO lazy with cooking (which is why I stick to salads). Who knew that one good thing about being lazy is that it helps you on the weight loss? :P

I had the flex and now the Charge HR. I really like it though it gives me a huge load of calories. I use the HR to try and measure my heart rate, I wouldn't say it's 100% reliable and accurate but it's just another thing to try and improve accuracy.

I tend to buy small bags to steam and just eat them on the go. Followed by a glass of water it seems quite filling for me. Maybe try eggs? A couple of eggs keeps me quite well.

Someone give this girl a cookie! And op, really? If you see video games as something for children, you should do a bit more reading - it became another medium for interactive storytelling. There are some amazing stories out there being written for it and it's no different to going to the cinema or reading a book.…

Vegetables? Depending on the veggie it can be a low cab source. Try to get fibre which is so difficult on a low carb diet x

vegetables. They're ready in a pack, just open it and enjoy ;)

My usual - skinny extra dry cappuccino with 3 shots, please! I try to cut down because I can have about 5 and still feel tired.

My tip is - get plenty of exercise during your work hours so you can be more relaxed when home. Surround yourself with healthy low calorie stuff...if wine is not around and if all you have is celery...I doubt you'll be munching on it for pleasure. That has worked for me - I actually had biscuits in the house for the first…

I really like it too...I think that we end up training ourselves to be a bit scared of food when we end up finding out calories and such.

That is incredible! I have friend requested @ajnb88 and would apprecite if you could share your workout tips! 4000 cals a day, what a dream! lol

If you like something a biit savoury, maybe blitz some avocado and tuna and spread it on toast in the morning. Heart healthy, delicious and quite filling! I love Tuna since it's so portable and easy to have and quite cheap too

That's quite an interestng way of handling it. I've been eating quite a bit today down to the cold and I think I've noticed that it's fine to eat "a lot" for one day, it's the consistency that matters in the end. You won't get thin by eating like a thin person for a day, but you will get thin if you eat like one for a…

I always thought of boredom eating as part of comfort eating - "I'm bored, got nothing to do...I'll eat". Which happens to me a LOT. That's how I end up drinking too much sugary drinks at work - no customers...water s boring...oh I'll make another cappuccino. I'll drink milk...and so on lol But yeah, I sympathize AND…

Diid you input it all correctly? Are you using sedentary as a measurement? Try the scooby calculator it's what a lot of us use :) http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ And budget friendly breakfast? Eggs. Just a couple have shown in research to help satiety which means people ate less through the rest of the day…

It is but the formula is not "eat more protein, become bigger, faster, stronger!" That's marketing. My gym trainer always said that the reason I don't gain size is because I eat too much protein (I LOVE meat) but don't eat enough carbs. What she also explained once was "Protein is like a muscle brick layer...but if you…

Thanks for this blackcoffee it's nice to know we all struggle with this in some way. My way to go around this is to increase my activity...I try to make my double steps and I ALWAYS give myself a reason to do something else. So for example, yesterday I had a couple of drinks and some biscuits...boom, blew my allowance. I…
