  • Hey I just noticed that as I have a "custom" program on MFP, Fitbit seems to think that I'm going over my allowed calorie allowance. I eat about 2400 calories a day as I'm trying to grow muscle. So is there a way to insert a custom TDEE? Thank you! Edit: Actually - could it be because I use MFP as a "Meal Planner" rather…
  • I would advise against weighing yourself DAILY as you'll have weight fluctuations - best thing is to check your weight once a week to keep yourself on track.
  • Can anyone else report that MFP's maintenance calories are wrong? Everywhere I looked seem to suggest the same value :s
  • OOOOOH I just did that! Thank you! Can it tell your calories and food diary from MFP? That's the bit I wish they'd be a bit more integrated! Well, I have been working out and my personal trainer asked me eat about 2400 calories and see if I'm still losing weight. I'm trying that now and on some days I will eat back…
  • Celery. Celery is GREAT for emotional eating because it's crunchy like a snack and quite low in calories. So yeah - what I sometimes do is have it around so I can have a…
  • It's really nice to see how much support some people are giving you! Plenty of good advice here to be followed - just don't let it become a habit. What I find that helps is to try and substitute things for other healthier options (not sure about pork as it's not something I eat generally - besides bacon. But everyone loves…
  • Hey Welcome! RESIST the pre packaged stuff :P You can do the maths yourself with kitchen scales to control your portions - that's what I do. I tend to only have pre packaged meals if I'm out or days that I'm too lazy to cook. My diet tends to be a protein shake in the morning with some food (eggs usually!) A bit of oats…
  • Hey there welcome! One thing that has helped me is first of all: buying scales. Not just to weight yourself, but also the food that you eat so you can log exactly and know what you've been eating and munching on. Two very good tools! Just make sure you avoid weighing yourself everyday and turn that into a once a week…
  • Got it thanks guys! Also adding a pic of my progression to try and check if I have understood how to post images...bear with! :P lol
