Oh gosh this place can be demoralising. I understand how disheartening it is to think you are doing everything right and get no reward for it :(. Logging might help - and getting a body composition done. But I do encourage you not to stop, you are making healthy life choice, and they should continue regardless of what the…

5.3 kgs in 9 weeks :). That's 11.5 lbs in 9 weeks, or 1.3 lbs a week. This gets me to my first mini goal on Christmas Day :)

I think you have an ED and consequently I am not going to give you advice on how to lose weight. Please go and talk to a Doctor.
-
If you only do it occasionally, it will be fine. So long as you average OK over a week or so, you are doing well. A single day won't put you in "starvation mode". That said, don't make it a habit.

I agree, it sounds far too low. Eating such small amounts will burn muscle and lower your metabolism making weight loss harder. The exact opposite of what you want. At your weight (why oh why do you want to lose weight?) I would maintain and slowly do more weights so you toned and very slowly lost fat. I think 5 lbs would…

OK thanks everyone. I just have no idea how long this water bloating lasts. Cheers :)

Yes I have a small digital scale and I never cheat the log. I am really confused. 9 days, with weight fluctuating after heavy weights, both other than that bounce up and down, I've lost 200 grams in 9 days of eating 1200 net calories (on average).

my ticker will get me to the top of the healthy bmi range :)

You should net 1200! Eat up!

I have way more than 10 lbs to lose. I have at least 30 lbs to lose.

When I do side lunges, my knee touches the ground. Do you get that low? When you squat do you go "*kitten* to grass", or at least, to *kitten* in line with knees?

Awesome job!!! It is more of a mental battle than a physical one. I hope you are feeling as proud as punch :D.

I'm in for 15 by Christmas.
-
Bwahahaha I'd consider it a challenge and find a way ;)

Write it off as a binge day and move forward with clean healthy eating. I would never recommend a low calorie day for someone with a history of ED. Nor do you need to punish yourself for eating by forcing yourself to burn it off with exercise. It was one bad day. Chin up, chest out, move forwards :) put it behind you.

QTF Soreness is about water retention usually.

I signed up to Jetts - looked really good when I was in there.

Probably water weight. Dominos are salt laden. Check your TOM too :).

Yep IIFYM - JFDI!

Have a glass of water and wait 15 minutes. After that, if you are still hungry, try something small but protein dense (a tin of tuna, a boiled egg, a protein shake, a glass of milk). Wait 30 minutes. If you are STILL hungry, eat again.
-
That's so cute. You are new here, right? :D
-
How tall are you?
-
I think your troll-dar is broken ;)
-
Eat chicken that's been left on the bench overnight. That ought to do it.
-
Try body composition scales. Water weight loss is important because that weight is very easy to regain and hasn't actually recomp'd your body at all - you are basically just dehydrated.
-
Yep I still weigh in BUT I keep in mind that weight gain around that TOM is all bloat so I don't get all down about it.
-
Congratulations!

Thanks! W1D2 done today and I could keep up with the same pace and had some energy left over for another two intervals - so far so good :). And... I actually like it! I didn't realise how good running made me feel. I am a warrior at 10 km/hr.

Some days when I know I am going to have a big lunch, I plan to have just a protein shake for dinner, or something small like two boiled eggs.
