I'm no expert so take this with a pinch of salt if you wish! When I joined a beginners running group we were told to run with hands loose like you are holding a grapefruit in each hand. Apparently clenching fists causes you to tense other muscles which may include your shoulders, I don't know :0) Hope this helps.

I've been doing this for 3 months now. If I mention losing weight my husband brings home family bars of chocolate. So here I am 3 months on 16 lbs lighter and nobody even realises they are eating healthier too!

Whip down to Tesco and buy the Hairy Dieter's book. Lots of good calorie counted recipes that will keep you fuller for longer. Make sure you eat three regular meals a day. I make up a couple of batches of soup and store in the freezer to take to work. I also keep back a lunch sized portion of dinner e.g Chicken and…

I had a Thorntons Chocolate Christmas tree given to me on 20th Dec. It weighs 655g and is about 3500 calories. It is still unopened in the box. The pay off being that my trousers which used to be tight are now getting to be too big!

Dammmmmmn! It is very obvious. Maybe you should invest in some smaller tee-shirts and show off your slimmed down size.

Well done! You are a real inspiration. With a starting weight of 180 and aiming at around 133 myself (also only 5'2") I can now see what I'm aiming for! Next goal is slipping from Obese into overweight next month....sadly excited about this!

I'm currently 167lb so next goal is 166 to hit my first stone lost. By 28 Feb I hope to be 162lb which will mean I have moved from a BMI of Obese to overweight.

I have about 34 lb to go and like you am hoping to move out of the obesity range pretty soon (end of Feb is my goal).

Totally agree with this. I went into Bravissimo a 36C and came out a 34FF. You cannot beat being fitted by an expert!

5'2" started at 180lb now 169lb and aiming at around 133. I'm in my mid-forties with a sedentary job and a long commute to work so exercise ain't my thing but pound by pound the weight is coming down :0)

Hi Kate, Like you I have a similar amount to lose. I started at 180lb and am aiming at around 133lb. I am not really following a diet but just watching my calories and this seems to be working for me as normally I get bored and fall off the wagon. I lost 11lb from beginning of November to the end of Dec. I am not brilliant…
