The best practice is to do half of what you regularly do. Suppose you run 2 miles and do 40 push-ups, make it 1 mile and 20 push-ups one day in a week.

Whenever you feel like eating sweet have a bowl of salad, evan a few salads of cucumber will do. Munching on something can make you feel a little relaxed and stop thinking of the sweet cravings you have frequently. After that if you feel like then you can go for a walk outside and take in some fresh air. I have found…

The calorie intake should be probably above 2000. Eat well, take good rest. No need to do that much walking. And, yes. Remove the coke from your food intake. Replacing it with water would do well.

Basically, plants are more nutritious. Many people prefer a palio diet. But it is scientifically proven that veg diet is very good and healthy.
-
Increasing calorie intake is not the only option for that. You must gain some good ratio of muscle weight to maintain weight. Drink good amount of water. Also, saturated fat is good for body. It also helps maintain weight.

Being fit and healthy is of course good. Getting into shape is such a good feeling but your boyfriend is judgmental about your body or shape. Why don't you tell him that either he should stop all this non- sense or you would leave. Moreover, you should also remind him that he is a skinny man which in no ways indicates a…

I would suggest you to take some healthy accompaniments with your diet. Try out the wakey shakey- berry protein shake which would not only give your diet appropriate amounts of protein but also help you stay healthy and active all day long. It is great as snacks or breakfast meals, or even with your workout or dinner. Hope…

I would say you can have them in the quantity you mentioned but only if you do not consume fats or proteins in high quantities all day long. Moreover, if you are an obese then you should avoid eating dry fruits and instead consume fresh fruits like apples, oranges, guavas, etc as these have lots of fiber, vitamin C, etc…

I would suggest you to avoid drinking water or other liquids with your meals. You can have it half an hour before or after the meal. Secondly, stop taking any soft drinks or aerated drinks and drink lemon water or skimmed milk instead. A little exercise, walking or even occasional stretching exercises even while you are at…

I guess you are already familiar with the fact that while loosening fat, the extra water is the first thing to go. The real fat weight is a bit difficult to lose overtime. I'd say losing 20 Pounds in six week is okay. But, I would much appreciate if you could share your diet and workout plan.
-
Okay. There are three things which should be quite clear in a given scenario. 1. Muscle weight is good. You need more proteins for it. 2. Fat weight is bad. You need to burn this. 3. The first thing to go in a fat loss program is the excess water in the fats. This can also lose the muscle. From what I read, your body fat…

I agree with you on most points, except for three. Exercising every day is not good. At least not at a regular pace. Our body should be given rest and relaxation too. So cut the regular workout in half once a week. You do 4 sets of push-ups, make it 2. You do 2 miles of running, make it 1. Mealtime is a good point. It is…

I believe you already have an answer to your question now. But, a small piece of advice. Do not rush in weight gain. It would be better if you focus on muscle weight gain rather than fat weight gain. If you rush, and gain fat weight, then you may have to go for a month to loosen it. It's better to have muscle weight. There…

I personally like chocolates very much. I don't crave it, but I can't leave it either. But, the main reason because of which I especially like the dark chocolate is, the presence of saturated fats.

Consistency is an issue of concern. I recommend that you run only two miles a day every day. Then, proceed to 3, 4, 5. But, never do a big one a day. This will put a sudden stress on your body for which you might be mentally prepared, but not physically. It's better if you push your limits slowly.
-
If you are looking to gain muscle weight, then eating saturated fats would help you. It flows in your body, and clogs nowhere. Also, it does increase the risk of heart diseases, ignore that if you do cardio regularly. A high portion of saturated fats can be found in animal fats such as cream, cheese, butter and ghee.…

It is better if you consult a dietitian. Excess of calorie intake will not help you in the best way, nor will excess of workout. You won't want to give 6 months to gain weight, and then another 6 months to lose them.

There are three weight range which are 108-121 (Small Frame), 118-132 (Medium Frame), 128-143 (Large Frame). I would say you might lose some more weight, but don't over stress yourself to look too skinny.

It is very good that you want to gain muscle weight. Regarding the muscle usage, your muscle needs to be exercised. Exercise fill our muscles with protein, and are the main building blocks of muscle. Now, about the weight gain. You can gain fat that is used in your body, but does not clogs. What I am talking about is…

Cooking does reduce the nutritional value, but we won't be able to digest what we eat if it is all raw food. Consider eating raw potato, etc. So, when we cook some food, it does reduce the nutritional value, but makes the food soft for digestion. You won't want all that raw energy wasted in chewing or digestion only.

I don't know exactly what is your daily routine, but I would recommend that to get a diet plan and stick to it. Take your workouts easily and slowly, but with passion. Salad, skimmed milk, etc. is good. Also, you can eat healthy fats to give you energy for those workout sessions.
-
Gaining weight would be easier if you focus on eating healthy fats like egg yolks, coconut oil, meat with healthy fats. Bananas count well there. There are several food that help you gain weight. A few tips are: Eat whole eggs Butter Tuna Natural fruit juice (Not the packed one) Whole wheat bread Peanut Butter Energy Bars…

I agree with trojan, when you perform high intensity cardio, the protein needed by your muscles, is used in running. Now Don't quit on cardio at all. Keep it lite. Gaining weight is not a problem unless you have some illness. Otherwise, a good diet and little workout is enough. Let your body gain some weight. Lite exercise…

Given that you already have the sufficient answers to your question, I would only say that you cannot eat more that what your body allows. A small word of advice, three full meals and two snacks in between them is good. If you want to gain weight, try banana shake with or without chocolate. That is sure to help.

I also like to have spinach in my salad. Raw spinach is good. I don't eat broccoli much. It seems nice and fit when steamed. Steaming food kind of mixes their taste. I don't like spinach all mixed up in my food.

It depends on what is your focus for workout?! However, you must do cardio at least 3 times a week. And, maintain your diet. Yoga is also quite good in indoor exercises.
-
Both are nutritious. However, bodybuilders prefer to not to eat the yolk. It contains much fat. It's not quite recommended for an average person to eat more than two whole eggs. Whereas on other hand, you can have up to 10 egg whites.

Anti-depressants are okay. You can go with it. But keep one thing in mind that you don't need them forever. Have 1200-1300 calories a day and approx and hour of cardio exercises. Have a lot of water, but not too much... ;) And, cheer up, you can do it. :)
-
I would not recommend that. You should give yourself some time for it. These sorts of dieting puts pressure on your body for weight loss and as soon as you complete the diet and get back to your normal habits, boom the weight kicks in. So just go for the calm and steady approach.

Well, for the stats, you will need in excess of 3500 calories above your RMR to gain a pound. You try to hit that. Have three meals per day as well as two snacks. That will do the trick. All the best and happy new year. Peace.
