Food is almost always the same for calories and macros. I have hot cocoa around 9:00 every day then breakfast around 10:00, which is different stuff but close to the same for calories and macros every day. I go to the gym around 11:30 every day. So I *think* food would be pretty similar for pill vs soda

Ooooh that's scary! I may not have noticed without my HRM, but then after seeing the numbers, I did start to *feel* it but of course that could have been mental. I remember reading that even some OTC meds (like midol) have caffeine in them. I wonder if I'm extra sensitive to caffeine too but then what Jackson said about…

Hmmm I'm trying to think back now. It probably varied too much. I didn't control my experiment very well! Like today, I took a caffeine pill but I drank less water than I usually do and compared to how much water I probably had on the other caffeine pill days. And I probably did drink less water on the soda days. I…

Thanks Jackson. That's really interesting. At least it's not just me.... hmmm

Yea I drank about 30 oz (2 tall glasses full) about an hour before going to the gym twice to compare, but you're right that the pill definitely goes down faster lol. I saw one thing, and of course I don't have the link now, that said that soda will absorb quicker than a pill so that kind of confused me even more. You'd…

MFP never suggested I eat 1200 calories. When I was obese/overweight, I stuck to the mfp calorie goal which usually ended up between 1800-2000 when I first started, 1600-1800 when I was smaller. Now I eat around 2000 for maintenance

yaaaaaaaay thanks you 2!

I have to agree that I think it's the difference in the angle and pose for the pics. If I want a pic of my back looking lean, I put my arms up <---- lol  But I think you looked great last year and great this year.

I pay a lot more attention to my weekly goal than my daily goal. I'm under some days and over others. So.... my answer would be yes.
-
...waiting impatiently for you to decide so I can like your page.... Sorry, no great ideas! Good luck

I usually pop my own kernels at home and take them with me. If it's around meal time, I take a subway sandwich
-
You look great! Same start weight and same current weight *high five*

I know Sara and SS already replied, but if anecdotes make you feel better... I generally save about 500 calories to eat right before bed, and it's often junky stuff like chips or ice cream (or both) and I haven't had any issues losing fat =) Good luck

I'm 5'3.75", 135 lbs, 30 years old, female I go to the gym 3-4 days per week and usually work out at home a day or 2 per week 2 I maintain at around 2000 calories. I averaged 2100 in November but gained a bit

Congrats on losing the Thanksgiving bloat but I agree with the others that your goal is completely unrealistic. :flowerforyou:

You may find that your body comp won't change much at all on maintenance calories. I've been at the same weight for a year, lifting, and eating well (100+ g of protein per day) and my body comp is pretty much exactly the same. I'd love to have a little less fat and a little more muscle, but I haven't had the motivation to…

Congrats on your success!

This. I usually just put however much peanut butter I want, and then calculate how many servings that is, be it .55 or .75 or 1.18 ;)

I've always been cold!!!!!! Even when I had plenty of extra fat that should have been at least keeping me warm.

Congrats!!!! I just love that happy dance pic!!!!!

Cheese? Ice cream? Chips?

cooked carrots and peas, or peppers and onions, or bacon and cheese, or mushrooms, or salsa, or chili and cheese

ETA now I'm looking forward to reading the other replies

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1112543-your-body-fat-percentage-your-feelings-about-it That's a great post ^ I was going to guess around 26% and honestly I think you look great.

Do whatever fits your goals

I agree. Honestly, when I see people post seated pics of their bellies poking out, it makes me wonder if they have unrealistic expectations about human bodies. Bellies are going to pudge out when seated. Just my honest opinion! And you didn't even say that so feel free to disregard. I think it looks like you have a…

I drink 1-3 diet cokes/day and I haven't had trouble losing weight. :flowerforyou:

do you think the labels lie?
-
my soda has 40 mg of sodium, which is what? the same as 1/60th tsp of table salt?
-
Damn I was gonna say try 2 diet cokes.
