It's in my TDEE. ;) But seriously, the difference between what you burn having sex and what you would burn doing normal daily activities is negligible. Much like housework and cleaning. But hey, it's your calorie burn and goal, log whatever works. Just don't get mad when you're eating back your sex and cleaning calories…

Sometimes I don't agree with how JoRocka phrases things, but I have no idea why you got so nasty with her, she actually provided you with some excellent information. Training to failure is extremely inefficient for building strength. It's not an opinion, it's a FACT. And as far as barbell lifting not being a "natural and…

I would recommend Starting Strength while in a deficit before 5/3/1 but that also depends on how much accessory lifting you are doing with 5/3/1 and how long you have been lifting in general. I personally run 5/3/1... well getting back at it at least. I have been lifting for roughly 2 years, but spent most of last year…

You're one of those self proclaimed "I'm such a unique female and I don't operate by ANY typical female behavior" types, aren't you?
-
Agreed. I know good and well that a man opening a door or pulling out a chair for me has nothing to do with him thinking that I can't perform these things on my own, it's just being courteous. I'd rather someone be overly courteous than the general trend of *kitten*-ishness that society seems to be embracing.

I love this response.
-
Yeah netting 1450 calories and totaling 1450 calories are two VERY different things.
-
In addition to previous posters mentioning that it's only 100 calories over your maintenance so don't worry about it, I'd also reassess your overall weightloss goals as far as lbs per week goes. 2lbs per week is pretty aggressive unless you have a lot of weight to lose. Drastic deficits can lead to restrict and binge…

Most doctors won't randomly assume you have an eating disorder, there are usually some red flags that they pick up on before any ED talk gets thrown around. Have you asked your doctor WHY they think you might have an eating disorder? Like others have said, assuming there is no medical condition at play here other than the…

Why is weight loss so frowned upon by the OP? I lift a little, but I'm trying to lose weight so maybe my PRs don't count: Deadlift - 245lbs Back squat - 205lbs Bench press - 125lbs Clean & Jerk - 125lbs
-
This is actually a really helpful response. Just because it wasn't phrased how you expected or wasn't what you wanted to hear doesn't mean there aren't some relevant and thought provoking questions being asked.

I love this gif. One of my favorite movies.

This is why I gained weight working night shifts last year. Had nothing to do with the fact that I ate too much and wasn't working out consistently.
-
Alright... the whole eat more to lose has gone a little far. It's meant in relation to something being sustainable, not that eating more will make you lose more weight. If you aren't losing at your given activity level at X amount of calories, increasing your calories and sustaining your same level of activity is going to…

They all look "normal" to me, whatever that means these days.

IIFYM has too few rules to be included in these moronic lists. Not restrictive enough, diets have to be hell, didn't y'all know?!

Why are you asking if wraps work if you're so convinced in this other thread that they slimmed down your legs? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1312884-ladies-with-thick-legs?page=5#posts-20315057
-
So if these wraps work then why the hell are you asking about it in your ridiculous I CAN'T SEE MY ABS THREAD? Stop promoting and selling fad bullsh!t. It's against the TOS anyway.

If you are in a calorie deficit, no, you aren't making the area bigger because you aren't adding muscle. A calorie surplus is necessary for adding a noticeable amount of muscle. You lift or resistance train to preserve lean body mass/muscle and you eat at a small deficit to shed fat.
-
Or you know... weightlifting... without a calorie surplus.
-
Yessss. Bodyglide, Goldbond Anti Chafe or even deodorant do wonders for the thigh rub.

The fact that women believe this stuff baffles me. How much do children or groceries weigh? I imagine you pick up things heavier than 30lbs more frequently than you would think and you don't see a bunch of women running around who accidentally turned into bodybuilders from raising children and hauling bags of groceries…
-
This and this. You can only change your general shape so much, but by strength training and eating at a small deficit, you're going to continue to shed fat. You won't be building any new muscle, so your general size will decrease overall. Now it may not do that proportionately, so if you like the majority of your body…

So was the point of this thread just to ask why you aren't losing and then ignore the very straightforward posts that stated you are probably overestimating your calorie burn and underestimating how much you are eating? Asks for advice. Replies with detailed post about how she has it all figured out while throwing out the…

Along the same lines, have you looked on Craigslist for gently used kids bikes?
-
As a little girl, I would have preferred the blue bike. With purple being her favorite color, I can't see her being too heartbroken over a blue bike instead of a pink one. Have any links to the bike?
-
That question was answered numerous times. Now we are trying to weed out some of the nonsense that was posted about why she might not be losing. It doesn't have anything to do with trans fats or meal timing or doing HIIT workouts or eating McDonalds or whatever other garbage people wrote. It has to do with maintaining a…

Dietary fat does not equal body fat. The actual biggest concern about not eating hardly any meals prepped by you personally is the inaccuracy of the portions prepared vs. the portions use in the nutritional information provided by a restaurant.

If they are suggesting I cut out my zero cal energy drinks along with diet soda, well they can stick it where the sun don't shine.
