Yup, family is always difficult! I don't know what to tell you, except, just keep at it and making results. :flowerforyou:

Not unless you said you looked better before :)

you're too big to ride a pony, and it bites! I wish I had more nookie time with my hubby!

Really? Just eat some healthy food. Put the chicken into a sandwich and have some fruit.

Hahaha, then you'll be all wimpy and have to change your name to hitchhiker:tongue:

1. Not all doctors made A's in school. 2. I have gotten some VERY questionable treatment from doctors in the past and had to move on to new ones and do a lot of research on my own. (regarding kidneys, not weight loss but mistakes happen every where every day ) 3. I don't ask my OBGYN advice about weight loss…

Thanks Janelle! I took some pictures today hoping that the shrinking continues :)

That's very true Wordpainter. I used to avoid everything thinking I had to be the good at it. Now I just try stuff and see what happens, and then start planning how to do it a little bit better. Life is more fun this way!

Thanks guys. I also forgot to say that I still eat plenty of food and I only do exercise stuff that I think is fun. I am NOT into torturing myself. My Hubby pointed out last night that my wrists and ankles are looking different too, so I knew things were happening but man is it nice to have actual data to back the feelings…

Actually I think while reading it my mind just accepted the baby deaths as a hideous fact but didn't draw up mental images of what it would look like standing in the room, but seeing it on the screen makes it unavoidable. I forgot to say that my favs are Tyrion, Arya, and Bran. I get bored reading about Cat and Robb. lol…

Ahhh. In reading the book, i knew it happened but I never felt 'witness' to the acts. Does that make sense?

No HBO for me, so I couldn't watch it. So they showed it like a scene? WTF HBO?

I am curious too, especially for the first few weeks which several users say tends to be high. I wonder if being aware of having a tracking device makes people subconsciously be more active until they get used to it.

Time doesn't matter but when I am ready to quit eating for the night (and my kids, lol) I make a big deal about "closing" the kitchen. I get my last glass of water put stuff away etc. and then I declare "THE KITCHEN IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE NIGHT" and that's it. It helps me not to just keeping grabbing 1 more snack, and then…

lol, - too bad you couldn't see my face while reading that.

I wonder what they consider 'excessive'? Too much of anything can be bad for your health.

You should have dunked her!! No really you should have! I have been learning a lot about nutrition an the amount of calories a body needs to thrive! Please consider coming to check out this group I have joined. We strive to determine our true amount of calories burned and then eat a deficit off of that. From reading what…

I do, but I don't have a structured plan. Sometimes I even just play the 'game' where I can do anything I want except touch the bottom or sides of the pool. :) You have to watch out for the crazy hungries afterwards. ALWAYS have a healthy snack planned for afterwards! Oh yeah, and even though you won't be super thirsty…

I don't go 'tanning' but I am outdoors enough that even with daily sunscreen I get tan in the summer. I try VERY VERY VERY hard to not every get sunburned.

If you have access to water you can swim in - use it. You don't even have to swim laps just try to tread water and never touch the bottom or sides. If you have access to stairs you can get a crazy good workout that way. In your home you can dance to music, just boogey till it's uncomfortable to talk and then hold it at…

Walking is great exercise, and when I walk I don't get the crazy hungries like I do after a run. If you need to make a walk more challenging add some handweights or a weighted vest, change pace and stride. Someone else mentioned swimming which is very low impact but you can get a really high burn. I hate the elliptical…

I would like to hear that people got results with it that they would not have got otherwise! If I get one I'll probably do ebay.

Hi Modizzle! It's tough trying to figure all this out. I have found out that I was severely underestimating my activities and therefore my calories burned in a day. I have started to use the spreadsheet and calculator located here: http://www.health-calc.com/diet/energy-expenditure-advanced and aim for a deficit based off…
