I am 50 plus , and need help also. Any one out there to keep me going , I am bordline diabetic, need to lose 75 ponds , had a total hip replacement , so my exercise is limited, to some walking on a treadmill mostly . I would love to do the aerobics but can't . I led such an active life before surgery, this sucks.

Thomas what type of socks? Can you give a name brand etc.? I can't run , I have had a TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT , ( necrosis) but I do the fast walk and my feet hurt .

Welcome Alison , I joined a little over a week ago. To my amazement , I have dropped 10 pounds already. The logging in of the food diary has been the most helpful . It really has been an eye opener, and challenged me to find foods and look at labels to meet my goal . You can do it , just keep logging , stay active, walk ,…

Thanks for the sodium alert , I checked and I was out of control on sodium. SODIUM , is in almost everything, coffee , diet drinks , breads, cereals , it isn't just salty foods.Read the labels on everything. I too was shocked at all the diet things I consumed and then totaled up that sodium was keeping me from dropping…

Oh yes, many times. I found a way to help with that ,beef jerky , barely any fat and low carbs. I make my own at home and keep a bag of it in my purse. When I have those days to eat it all and anything, I just chew on jerky and the urge goes away.
