Really at the end of the day, calories IN - calories OUT = weight gain or loss. If youre a bodybuilder trying to sculpt, then yes carbs, fats proteins start to matter a while lot... but if youre looking to lose weight (and not bodybuild) then just burn more calories than you take in.
