I am going to try this one soon!

Sounds like the key is to rinse them well prior to cooking. I have an asian market up the street that I have just started frequenting. I wonder if I can find them there.

Maybe cook up a turkey breast or a chicken and use that meat instead to avoid the nitrates? Easy to freeze & you will probably save some pennies in the long run. I used to really love tuna with some celery, pecans, cumin, and just a touch of mayo w/ lettuce. Hmmm... might have to look in to seeing about making me some…

I just finished putting the recipe up on my blog! Here is the link... http://creativeabode.com/crock-pot-turkey-split-pea-soup/ Enjoy! Jaime

We make a lot of soups around here. My family enjoys turkey chili the most, very hearty and flavorful & healthy! As far as new things to make, I discovered spring rolls! They are yummy, filling and low in calories... not to mention inexpensive to make if you are near an asian market. Here is the link to my blog where I…

A lot of nice looking recipes, but you need to be careful, if you're wanting to eat clean, it's best to not opt for processsed foods (example: cream of whatever soup, ranch dressing packets, etc.) Here is a great article to point you in the right direction...…

I made a comment to my Dad that my brother in law had put on quite a bit of weight (I hadn't seen him in some time). Dad responded with "Well, have you looked in the mirror lately?". Ouch! Maybe it was karma, but that one hurt!!!

I skipped the tater's and threw a handful of baby carrots on my plate with a properly portioned piece of steak. I was satisfied! The night before we had pork…
