So when are you getting married? Is that at all an issue, or are you just gunning for the house?

1. How long have you used mfp for? 4+ years. Started January 2010. 2. How has your logging habits changed over time? I log much more consistently now. And more accurately. And I am more concerned about macros now. Didn't even know what they were or why they mattered when I first started. 3. Have you ever reached goal and…

I was until they "parted ways" with Nolan Ryan. But I can't root for the Disastros either. I'm just a baseball fan. Terrance Mann said it best ...

Jon, you never disappoint.

There are 2 airports in Dallas. Love Field has a Starbucks. DFW has about 20 of them (and a few Dunkin Donuts).

You really have to be perceptive and aware of your behavior, but I think much of the difference in how I am treated now has to do with the fact that I behave differently than I did before. I didn't like who I was before. I was shy and reserved and didn't think anybody wanted to talk to me or be nice to me, so I maintained…

False True Only true if I'm really depressed or stressed out. Otherwise, piece of cake. Nobody said you had to eat 2000 calories of chicken and green beans. Use your imagination. Obviously with that hat, you must have one.

The "I'm a woman, and society is holding me back" thing is beneath me, but I do think it's interesting how it's only women who are criticized in this scenario. I know guys who openly brag about how stupid, immature, and completely lacking in useful skills their girlfriends/wives are because, as long as she's hot and puts…

You need more confidence in yourself and in your choices.

I eat chicken pretty much every day (high protein, low calories). I eat a lot of turkey for the same reason. Vegetables, in general. I'm not particularly a fan of vegetables, but they do provide a lot of food for little impact on the calorie goal, so I use them a lot. Blue Bell no sugar added ice cream (I'm not a sugar…

Visible abs are more about diet than exercise. You build them in the gym, but you reveal them in the kitchen, and I'm not a doctor, but I'm not sure yours would recommend a prolonged calorie deficit during your pregnancy. And you definitely do not have to stop working out and start doing yoga. Whatever you were doing when…

Depends. If they do something extra (sometimes they'll throw in free chips and salsa, for example), then I'll add a couple bucks. If all they do is hand over the food and run my debit card, they get nothing.

Couldn't disagree with you more. I also cook nearly every meal that I eat. I also bake all the time. I also go through flour and butter and eggs and sugar like nobody's business. And I'm not fat. Because you know what I don't do? I don't overeat, and I don't act like making things from scratch excuses me from calorie…

In dresses, pants, and skirts, everything from a 2 to an 8. In tops, XSP to M. I buy what fits me, not a certain number or letter.

Shouldn't you be asking HIM those questions? Seriously, he's a grown man. Cut the cord. Unless he's got officially diagnosed health problems related to his diet, then what's wrong with the way he eats? He's not gaining weight, he literally brings home the meat and grinds it himself. You're lucky. It may require more work…

The most visible improvement? Hard to say. In terms of strength, stability, etc., it's a close race between front squats and Turkish get-ups. My favorite lift in terms of actually performing it is the front squat. My least favorite ... any single-leg lift. I hate Bulgarian split squats, lunges, step-ups, and single-leg…

I have experience with both, and I think lifting weights is harder than weight loss. What now? It's pretty freaking obvious that if your goal is to lose weight, and you aren't losing weight, you're eating too much. And for the record, when people only log twice a month and happen to be a few hundred calories under on those…

A) Dark chocolate is not junk. B) That's 124 calories. You'll live.

It wouldn't have been a waste if you had made that the first date. Then you would've known right away he wasn't playing with a full a deck, and you could've avoided the other dates. Think about the multitude of things you could learn about a person by training with them and then eating or grocery shopping with them.

I usually pre-log my days, but I don't always stick to exactly what I logged. Sometimes the foods are the same, but the amounts change. Sometimes I'll eat something right before I lift and end up having to alter my dinner plans. In the beginning, it was helpful for me to stick to exactly what I logged because I mostly just…

I train at home in my garage. Definitely time your rest periods. You don't realize how much time you're wasting until you do that. Also, don't allow yourself any other distractions. No TV or Internet access nearby. No phone. Nothing that gives you something to do during rest periods other than actual rest. Maintaining your…

Steak. I'm not sure what else, but there will be steak.

About $100/week for just me. I eat a ton of meat, at least a pound per day.

A friend of mine introduced me to the concepts of "heavy lifting" and actual training programs, as opposed to just "working out." He was a college athlete and was well-versed in S&C theory. I learned kettlebell lifts just from watching tons of videos and reading tons of blogs on the subject. You learn really quickly who…

I don't even get why this needs to be an issue. The best way to get people to stop discussing your business is to stop discussing it WITH them.

My opinion is live and let live. If a weekly "cheat meal" works for you, do it. I'll keep eating cookies and ice cream every night. That works for me.
