Foam roller has been awesome!! $15 at Wal-Mart it takes just a couple of minutes a day.

You have ran a couple of 10 milers--the half will be no problem. Relax, have fun, wave to the spectators--don't over think!! Drive the route prior to race day so you can get a feel for it. Come up with a plan prior to the race--what pace you want to run the first miles, where you want to take a break, etc. Don't eat or…

If the excercise equipment allows you to input your weight then I think its okay to use. If it doesn't ask for your weight it has a pre-determined weight it is using. The more you weigh the more calories you will burn doing the same excercise and vice versa. So depending on what your weight is and what the predetermined…

I use the Ipod Shuffle. It is tiny, no buttons to fool around with, I turn it on and then don't touch it til I turn it off. I don't always run with music, sometimes it's nice to hear the birds, your heartbeat, your breaths--so try some runs without music.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza with ranch dressing. I save it for long run days so I have the extra calories to indulge!!

I always joke that if I don't get sick at the end of a run--then I could have done it faster! ;-) I've never let it bother me. Just make sure you are eating well and drinking enough water--especially if you are excersicing outside…

I also take Synthroid (137.5 mcg). The only times it has been an issue for me is when my levels were out and my medication had to be increased. I can usually tell when it's out (I am very tired, the scale starts creeping up even though I am eating well and excersicing). I get tested every 6 months as well. I would verify…

34lbs is awesome!! That is 3 sizes! Find something you enjoy doing for workouts--swimming, tennis, hiking, if you do what you love it won't seem like a workout!

I have never heard that too much cardio was a problem. I run about 5 days a week and struggle to make myself do stregnth training (I would rather run), even though I know building muscle will help my metabolism. I would keep on keeping on with what you are doing. You could definately mix it up--add strength training,…
