I just use normal walking, since general consensus is that estimated burn is inflated some.

I am 30 years old, 150lbs, regularly active. The burns seem to be close for me, but I think the 'formula' to calculate caloric output is based on someone with similar stats. I don't usually eat back many of my earned calories specifically, just use it as a cushion for error in logging. (Or to "cover" the occasional taste…

Your post thread title is me. Perfectly.

I have 3 kids, 2 asd and little one is starting to show some delays. Feel free to add me. Between schools, IBI, the baby and whatever is left to running a home and family I AM TIRED! Exercise time is my only me time, and I'm finding comfort in planning my food (control and balance) when life seems so out of my control…

You should try exerbeat game. Great workout and has a travel around the world steps for the exercise you've done. The calories burned is a little inflated but fairly close.

Stay at home mom of 3. Down 50 ish, need another 20lbs at least. Want to run a 5k this summer. (In Hamilton ON, OP!)

Your legs are awesome and your whole body looks so..... 'smooth' ? I went from 205 to 159 and I'm still lumpy.

I think muscles retain water to repair after a new/more intense workout. Personally I always put on a lb or 2 after strength days. Someone with more knowledge will chime in. Good luck!

I have a daughter with autism and a son with aspergers. My mom has depression and I struggle with wild swings. It seems to come down to following the "rules" (CICO) and numbers, which lends itself to the logical side.Good luck and welcome!

I've got the mindset that since I'm always tired and achy I may as well give my body something to be tired and sore about! (Within reason ) add me if you like.

Please let me know how it goes! 3 kids (all c sections ) and a lifetime of obesity, I just turned 30 and am considering the tuck. My highest (during pregnancy ) was 250, hovered for years over 200, and am at 165 as of now. Still working hard!

I have fibro, diagnosed when I was 22, along with some other challenges. Lost 36 pounds since last summer, hopefully another 35ish. Lots of my friends on here have fibro too, so add me if you like. I find enough sleep and keeping cold/damp to a minimum helpful. I like me soft kettle bell I just got for Christmas to work on…

Anyone? It has exercise mode and like a bar graph. When I pick the first bar, for example after 9 minutes running up stairs , it says 17 Cal, second bar says 47cal, etc......and the Last one says 150. Opinions, is this calories burned? Something to do with exertion level?

Ladies , you are inspiration itself. Fav exercises/ food /anything you found particularly useful besides the logical eat less /move more ?

Yeast (can) builds up and causes infections. I am in the same position . Had one all m life, and then 3 kids (all c-sections too!) and it is a problem. Some shrinkage with weight loss by still a big flappy uncomfortable mess for me.
-
I do! And I am on every day, so add me if you like. The cold and damp is a killer, but pushing through . Lost 30 lbs . 30 more to go

May I ask what your surgery is? I also lost a baby, ectopic rupture needed to remove remaining tube and everything. After a few months I needed an additional surgery + a D&C. Hormones will be changing, body will be changing, and emotions/energy. Keep eating well and making good choices every day. Do what exercises are…
