I agree that if it something that you do every day, then it should be considered in your original stats, and set up w/ moderate activity level. Then do NOT log it as exercise. Any exercise you get outside your normal routine, especially On Purpose (like running or biking or weight lifting, whatever) is what you should be…

I take Centrum for Women. I think there are different ones, but the one I take includes Vitamin D.

Special K has "cracker chips". I love the sour cream and onion. They're ea. about the size of a half dollar, and there are 27 of them in a serving (off the top of my head, 90 cal. per serving , but I would check that no.). At least they seem like something you might have as a party snack. Also, Skinny Cow makes little…

Well, here's how I do it, and it is what has made it simple for me. I think of that number (daily goal) that I start off wth every morning (in my case 1200 calories) as cash in my wallet, and I cannot spend what I do not have. That gives me 1200 to spend on food each day. By working (exercizing), I earn more cash…

I tell you, I kept seeing these crazy 1K or better burns, and I felt like I must be such a slacker, burning a mere 300 or so every OTHER day (I do cardio on M,W,and F). But then I played tennis w/ my hubby for an hour. He is doing mfp too. We both logged in tennis singles 60 min. He burned twice the calories I did. So, Ive…

I have heard this too -- re calves. Thanks.

Yep, I do this stretch too. That and deep massage. It really relieves the pain. Thanks!! Oh, and I'll have to ck on those inserts. Though I get my running shoes from a running store, I never realized they carried inserts. Guess whenever I go, I'm on a mission to get what I need and get out before I start browsing in buying…

I love this idea --painting nails. You're right, you CANNOT eat doing that activity, and you don't want to ruin the work. Plus, BONUS, great looking nails all the time. I might have to do this. Thanks for sharing the great tip!

I'm knitting a scarf. People tell me all the time, "You know, you can just buy those at the store." LOL BUT, knitting keeps me out of the fridge!

Hey, you didn't "lost nothing." You lost .5 lbs. That's awesome. I've been on mfp consistently for a few weeks now, and I seem to have fallen into a pattern of losing less than one lb one week, followed by losing more than one lb the next week. It has been alternating like this over and over again. So, I guess weight loss…

Good work! You should be very proud.

I don't know about the "Shred," but I do know that you need rest days. So you're not done in 30 days. Did it only take 30 days to get to where you were before doing the Shred? I'd say, you've worked hard; give yourself a break. Good luck.

One bad day is not that big of a deal, so long as you don't continue into a pattern. Just move forward, and have five good days in a row. You'll fee better, and see that you can do good days. :)

Happy Birthday!! It is my birthday tomorrow, so if you want to unload a cupcake, send it my way. ;)

Saw a great motivational pic. on pinterest.com; the caption said: "If you're tired of starting over, stop giving up." Makes sense, I thought.

I would say keep up the exercise, but to eat back those calories. Otherwise, you're not going to have enough to give you energy. Good luck.

I think the least stressful on your body would probably be swimming. Im sorry you're having to deal w/ this so young, well, at any age. I wish you strength and luck for your goals/health.

My gosh! I hope he turns up soon, and that he is okay. Doubt I'd spot him here in NJ, but I will keep an eye out anyway. Best of luck to you and your family.

Great job! Inspirational story. Kudos to you, and to your husband for his help/support.

Thanks! Actually, I've been rolling a golf ball, and it sure does help the pain when i suffer.

Thanks CarsonRuns. I want to clarify that my PF is not from running. I'd had a hip injury I was dealing with for months, so had not run for a long time. It is actually from quitting my sit-on-my-butt secretarial job, and now being home and constantly on my feet -- yes, usually barefoot. One morning (in March or April??) I…

Throw away the makeup!! You don't need any! Congrats.

^^^This. You need to follow a sustainable plan. I could never stick with something that is not "normal" food. This would include both natural/healthy choices as well as the ocassional processed/junk food. I would need to be able to eat what I enjoy, but w/control.
