I start eating "clean" by eat mostly fresh fruits and vegetables, and cut out most carbs like bread and rice, and most sugary stuff like desserts, candy, and soda. i'm a sophomore too! I've actually lost weight since college (after the initial freshmen gain) because I live on my own now, and make my own food. For me, when I cook, I can control the calories better than always eating out, so I eat a lot healthier.

i hate that they generalize calories for everyone. there are so many more factors that effect calorie intake. like for someone like me, 1200 calories is more than enough because i'm short and generally inactive.
