This is my third go. FIrst time I did weightwatchers and did okay but quickly got bored with it. Next time I did MFP and went hard-core from the beginning. I am actually quite educated about TDEE/BMR. Done all the reading, got measurements done, scrutinized my activity levels etc. I am not eating at BMR or I would be losing more than 1 lb a week.

Thanks. Right now I am not active at all. I'm working on other challenges first, before introducing more vigorous exercise. So I know I will be quite a bit more active while camping. My thoughts were that if I eat at my current sedentary TDEE-20% I'll probably be eating too little. Probably during camping aiming for TDEE…
