As long as doesn't embarrass me, by bench more than I can. She's be welcome.

Relax. A beautiful lady like yourself has nothing to worry about. Sounds like you may just have some jitters that need to be set free. Why not simply go for a run. I'm sure you will feel great afterwards and have an awesome time. Enjoy.

Nice work Mate! Keep the graph info into your cut. These data points really help pinpoint diet and workout correlations. If you don't already, highly recommend you take tape measurements of your chest, arms, legs, neck, shoulders, waist and calves. You'll be amazed at how much they change as your bulk/cut cycles progress.

You are asking BBs what their MACROs are...so are you or do you plan on competing? Some of my female friend's compete at not much less than 14%, so that's actually pretty good.

Maybe have an event with a deadline that you can focus on. Say a race,or a bodybuilding event....something that makes you strive to reach, take part in and then feel good when you accomplish it. I'm a bit bias, but bodybuilding is awesome..as it takes dedication both in the gym and in the kitchen. As you get nearer your…

I tried them during my last cut. Big FAT 0. Diet is the only way to go for me.

I'm in the best shape of my life at 49. And better than anyone else I know personally. 3 years ago I was 60 lbs overweight and a hot mess. You are only limited by your own mind. Make a deal with your self to do everything right for just one year. Give yourself one year of strict diet, going to gym, laying off the…

Weight lifting...builds muscle..burns fat. What's not to love?

Af first one may simply want to change, to make a small transform. Lose 10 lbs say. Once you begin to see changes, you get excited, which makes you explore other paths to getting healthier, stronger, faster. Diet, supplements, training variety...group activities, music selections..as in ones that you can work out to.…

Lost 60 lbs in 3 months. Was skinny fat then. Took about 6 months of heavy lifting to truly transform. Another 18 months before I got on stage at my first BB comp. Keep at it...the rewards are unending.

For me it's three steps forward, one step back. When I gain weight, I gain strength and muscle, but I also gain fat. And as one progresses, it gets worse. Just reality.

As always...good info. Thanks!

Like others say...just do it. It may be hard to believe but most people don't judge others on what they can lift, as we all have different goals. And being a lady could be an advantage. Most people, guys or girls, have no problem showing newb how to do a certain exercise or how a machine works. I find gym folks to be some…

I'm a competitive bodybuilder. Used to be rather heavy. People ask why did you do it, lose the weight, then become a bodybuilder. Initially, it was to get healthy. Then as you get more fit, you realize the amazing things you can do, that you couldn't do before. And as you continue to progress, you realize you can do more…

Wow. In over 20 years in gyms all over the world, I've never seen anyone disrespect another person like that. You did the right thing. Avoid and keep going. Trust me, put your time in and you'll blow by her.

^^^^This As a competitive bodybuilder, going heavy for me means staying in the range of 6-8 reps. I'm personally more interested in gaining muscle vs strenght. Usually I shoot for reps in the 8-12 range, but when I "lift heavy" I go down to 6-8 reps. Rarely do I go below 5. Maybe on a machine where I can make sure my form…

If you go hard for 6 months, trust me, not only you will notice but all your friends, your family and the guy passing by you on the street. Go a year and people will ask you how you did it, seek out your advice. Go two years and you will be in better shape than probably anyone you know. Slow and steady will transform you.
-
If you can stay on course...this one decision may be the best one of your life. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is better when you are in shape. Good Luck!

You have the right attitude girl! For me, it took 3 months to get down to my desired weight and then another 6 months to build muscle to where I looked both fit and healthy. Took me 2.5 years in total till I got on the stage for my first BB comp. If you are running 4 days and in the gym 2, that may make your body more lean…

Actually, for me, it's what I didn't do. As I began to lose weight, I focused on diet and only cardio. I should have begun weightlifting at the beginning. I lost 60lbs in 3 months via cardio, but then I looked skinny fat. It's only then that I took up WL. Took me about 6 more month till I looked healthy and fit. I know now…

I take a couple weeks off from the gym every 3 months to let my joints rest up. During that time, I swim or walk or hike. I do lose some strength but not much and get it back in a couple weeks, meanwhile my tennis elbow feels great.

Go to the gym first thing in the morning..especially on Sat/Sun morning. Everyone else is nursing a hangover so you have the gym to yourself.

I was like you. Loved my coffee. But I had a special brand, if I couldn't drink it well then I wouldn't drink anything. Also, I hated the taste of diet soda. I also hated the taste of red wine. But 3 years ago, I decided to clean up my health. The full body transformation thing. Diet, exercise, check ups..going to do…

I more or less follow the paleo diet and I'm a competitive bodybuilder. When I'm in a cutting phase, I eat a lot of Shirataki Noodles. They are Japanese yam noodles with no calories and no carbs. You can find them at most Asian grocery shops. In the US they are usually refrig, but in the rest of the world, they are usually…

Yup...I'm a GF fan! But as ereck4 pointed out...be careful if you take a presc med. GF has the ability to super size some meds. Otherwise, it's very healthy. For me it was an acquired taste, but now I love it.
