I have been on it for awhile. I am loving it. Still getting gains in weights. As long as you follow the rest times, warm ups etc you can still make progress. I got maverick and starting making rest times shorter to speed up the workout and intensity, big mistake started missing sets and getting frustrated. I seen results…

I bought the Polar M400 and its by far the best fitness device I have bought. It has sport profiles so you can setup exercises to track like weight training, crossfit, treadmill, running out side etc etc/ heart rate distance, gps calories etc etc. Its awesome!!!

Here ya go

I have always battled the CHINS or in my case the CHIN!!! hahaha But they do go away with time. Just got my new license and was blown away

Even if the calorie burn is off, just be smart about it. Just cause I ran 4 miles and it says I burned 500 calories doenst mean I am going to eat another 500 calories. I just use it for motivation and numbers. I usually dont eat back any calories. I stay within my range no matter my exericse for the day. Its purely…

It all depends what your goals are. Are you looking to get fit or lose weight? Increase your cardio or strength?

THIS!!! Love mine and I have tried them all!

I would recommend the Polar m400 its an all in one device. Does steps, GPS, activity, sleeping etc etc. It pairs with a bluetooth H7 strap to give you an accurate heartrate. Stay away from the HRM that are on your wrist they have been proven time and time again to be very in accurate. I have used all of the above items and…

Hmm, not sure why. I believe others can see them=?

Here is another one I was looking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dy5eyMDt3c

Good points, I will keep my eyes open as the weight increases. Thanks!

Well the bottom legs in the back stick out far enough to prevent that. Unless I charge the back like a bull and rack the weight. But taking it easy and setting it on there hard and fast has worked so far, maybe as the weight increases you may have a point. I will check that out

The top is woven together so that adds quite a bit of strength.
-
All solid ideas, I was worried about the side to side as well. I have not had much issue so far with that though. Here is the original thread http://www.home-gym-bodybuilding.com/homemade-4x4-power-rack.html#power-rack

Be careful with the wrist HRM they are not as accurate as the chest straps. be careful when using it to calculate calories

http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/jason-blaha-ice-cream-fitness-5x5-novice-workout I just switched to this after doing t25/Insanity for about 7 months. Then I do some form of cardio on the off days. SO MWF I do 5x5 then TTSS I do cardio Check it out

I would second the M400. Its is the best of all worlds, GPS, Acitivity Tracking, HRM. You can create custom sport profile for just HRM while doing weights, treadmill running etc pair it with the H7 Bluetooth strap and it kicks *kitten*!

That is certainly going to help. More so than doing Kegstands and eating pizza playing video games. I would say if you are doing moderate work in that 25-30 you are burning at least 250 calories. SO that is more than not doing anything
-
Best bet would be eat half back. MFP is notorious for high numbers. I went with a HRM for this very reason
-
hahaha, yeah that probably is the wrong pic to show. Let me remove the middle ones! LOL

NICELY DONE!!

Here is mine SW 251 CW 199/200/201 working on lifting heavy now to define

I started last night. Feels strange not doing any cardio at all following a starter 5x5 program ( at home) then will jump into the Ice Cream one at my gym in a few weeks. Want to work on movements before I do the work in public Thanks!
-
Looks great. I am going to jump on it. BTW the last pic is not me flexing. So I do have some muscle hahaha.
-
I have been hearing that more and more. No better time than to start now. Would you recommend a program that is easy to follow at first? Hate to step in front of weights and have a brain fart
-
SOLD! LOL

Hornsby - just starting to get into the core lifts. Squats, bench, deads, blah blah. Goal was to go from lazy to active then build up from there. I am actually thinking of skipping insanity and just do weights and use running as the cardio. Thoughts?
-
Congratulations!!! Keep it up

This is interesting. When we say the last few pounds are the hardest. How does our body know? It makes no sense. I have been struggling to lose the last 6 pounds to MY GOAL and its dragging for like what feels like 2 months. So is it all mental? Do we tend to losing up our diet? I know my exercise hasnt changed a bit. I am…

The issue I have with all these bands so far, is that you cant glance down and see your heart rate at the exact moment. YOu need to stay still and get a measurement. I want to see my heart rate in real time in the middle of a cardio session or a HIIT session to know if I am in the right heart rate zone etc etc. I am hoping…
