You may feel full with so few calories..but that doesn't mean your body is getting enough to function properly. I'm a strong advocate of not eating below your BMR level. We need a certain amount of calories just to function without doing anything..why on earth would it make sense to eat less than that?

I do otherwise I net too little. 1550 net has been a good number. I gross up to 1900 when I exercise. I've been trying to net less than 35g carbs daily.

Two nights of committing carbacide last weekend knocked me out of ketosis. :frown: So that has been my focus!

I'm 5'10" and my goal is 150. It's impossible for me to get below that without killing myself.155 was actually my lowest adult weight, but I still had a bit of a gut so I know I can do 150. I have a medium frame. Like others have said, it really depends on your frame and how your body distributes the weight.

Hi everyone! I knocked myself out of ketosis last weekend so my focus has been getting back. I think I'm finally there a week later. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Oh and I bought banana extract, added to a mim it really satisfies the craving for banana bread! Tastes just like it :smile:

I'm additcted to them! I've been experimenting with extracts. I make the rich cocoa mim with cherry extract. I then add sugar free Pillsbury chocolate fudge frosting on top. I have lived in Minnesota most of my life, and while I love it, I will NEVER get used to the cold and snow! I hate the climate in the south even worse, so I deal with it.

I was undereating for weeks because I wanted to lose 2lbs per week. Well I was basically starving myself. I finally got the hint several weeks ago and upped my calories to net my BMR of 1540, grossing anywhere from that up to 1900 with exercise. Always netting at least my BMR though! Yes, I gross anywhere from my BMR if I don't exercise, all the way up to 1900 if I exercise. I always try to at least net at my BMR level!

I also have a desk job and other than walking 1/2 a block when I get there and leave, and 2x on breaks, I sit on my bum. My settings are on sedentary and I log anything extra.

I was netting 1200 and below awhile back with no loss. I finally got the hint and upped my cals to my BMR level of 1540, and viola! I started to lose steadily. :smile: I'm bummed I wasted weeks eating too little, but I'm glad I eventually caught on.

Flying really makes me swell, long car rides do too. It goes away by the next day so I've never been concerned.

I'm still coming back from a horrible weekend, and I'm up a lb. Better than the 5 I was up Sunday! So hopefully by Monday I can undo the mess I made. Congrats on everyone's weight loss!

I'm 5'10" also with the goal of 150. My lowest adult weight was 155. I'm only 9lbs away from goal so I feel pretty confident it's obtainable!

I am curious if others actually lost weight from quitting. I stopped cold turkey 2 months ago (will have it about once a week) and my weight loss has picked up. But I also modified some other things in my diet so I can't tie the two. I am much less bloated though!
