  • Ugh, our office has a huge box of Russell Stover in the kitchen, someone hit up their outlet for their 'oops' candies. Totally understand finding something easy to keep you away from that!
  • Great way to get some fiber and protein in your day, but I get bored eating the same thing over and over. And for me that leads to going downstairs at work to one of the delicious restaurants nearby. But if that works for you and you are getting other nutrients from breakfast and dinner then go for it.
  • Well, the protein powder itself is not going to slim or tone you, or make you super buff. Only eating at a calorie deficit and working out will do this. That being said, Unjury is the only one that I really like. I mix the classic chocolate flavor with PB2 and almond milk. It's great for a quick breakfast in the morning.…
  • This is why I get the reduced sugar Craisins, and I only use about a half of a serving. 1/4 cup is the standard serving size and I find that way too much for a salad. 2 TBS only adds 7g of sugar and 50 calories to my salad.
  • Leftover beef tenderloin and grilled squash, we grilled extra yesterday so we don't have to cook for a couple of days.
  • I'm a woman, but I have taken glucosamine with chondroitin for joints, and amino mag for muscle soreness.
  • My husband inherited his family's high cholesterol, unfortunately. I think it was in the 400s when we first started addressing it. We were able to lower it 100 points over a year by just cutting out processed food and adding in more soluble fiber like Brian has mentioned. He still has to take medicine, but I think he was…
  • I like mostly back teas, some herbal. The Republic of Tea has some good varieTeas (see what I did there?) I've also got a local place that makes a really good unsweetened black coconut tea that I purchase by the gallon.

  • This is fun! 1. I can only cross one eye. 2. Totally just stubbed my toe on my desk so there's been some swearing coming from my office. 3. I have an uncanny ability to taste cilantro in very small amounts.
  • My husband and I have a protein shake in the morning made with one of the Unjury chocolate flavors, PB2 and unsweetened almond milk. I will also make green smoothies once or twice a week. With those I use spinach, kale, cucumber, apple, lemon juice, a few frozen strawberries and chia seeds. I rather enjoy them and they are…
  • I usually just add a tablespoon, rather over estimate than under.
  • Drowning Pool, Let the Bodies Hit the Floor DJ Snake, Lil Jon, Turn Down for What Most LMFAO songs
  • Second on the Lucerne! In north Texas we get ours at Tom Thumb (which is a Safeway/United store).
  • If they don't have the nutrition listed on their website you will just have to estimate. Google is definitely your friend, the first result when I just searched was from Calorie King and it says 465. I am on a work computer so I cannot get to the actual website to see if that is 'as is' or not, but that seems kind of low…
  • Ugh, now I want fajitas!
  • I'm assuming that you are in Texas so we're talking about Tex-Mex. When I get tired of fajitas, or want something cheaper, I will usually get tortilla soup. We don't have many authentic Mexican restaurants close to me, but those will usually have lots of grilled meats and fish.
  • For my hair and dry skin I take the following, especially in the winter: - Barlean's Omega Swirl fish oil. Tastes like lemon frosting - Barlean's Flax oil gels - Biotin, 5mg Sometimes I will take the Citadel nutrition Tier 1+ preworkout when I have a case of drag*ss
  • Do you have time to make a quiche on the weekend? You can even make them in muffin tins.
  • I don't get this craze, or why it has become such a big thing in the last few years. Can't even stand the smell of this stuff.
  • Green smoothies, I get a ton in that way. Also use them in soups and sauces, especially pasta sauces. I love pasta primavera. There is no magic number you should strive for, but I like to eat as much as I can so I have less room for more calorie dense foods that don't fill me up.
  • Have you seen the cheddar biscuit mix at the grocery store? It's their exact recipe, not one of those copycat ones you see online. They're dangerous
  • Usually Monday though Wesdnesday we will eat food that I prepared on Sunday. We grilled a ton of chicken, but sometimes we will make a roast or steaks that we can eat on for a couple of days. I will supplement those with salad or raw vegetables, or even wrap everything up in a tortilla. If I have a little extra time I will…
  • This is one I made last night, it's got a lot of garlic and shallot so I can get by with just a tablespoon: 8.00 Tbsp, Oil 3.00 tsp (5 g), Dijon Originale - Traditional Dijon Mustard 4.00 tbsp (15 g), Red Wine Vinegar 2.00 tsp, Garlic - Raw 1.00 tbsp chopped, Shallots - Raw Pinch of sea salt and plenty of fresh ground…
  • I love my Vitamix. I burned through two of those cheap HB ones in two years. Definately cheaper in the long run to invest in a quality product. Plus mine makes soup.
  • The chocolate chunk was horrible, I didn't even finish mine. I'm so disappointed, it took many tries with many different brands and Quest was the only one I liked the taste of. I've got the cookies and cream and a pb chocolate one still to try, but I don't have high hopes.
  • Steak on the grill, roasted potatoes and salad with homemade vinagrette.
  • I don't struggle but that's what I grew up eating. My mom always had a garden and fresh, in season produce is something I still crave. Definitely try different preparations, like roasted as someone suggested. Also, as rdfdac suggested, adding something to it might help with your aversion. I love a little honey on my…
  • Thick, chewy, lumpy, non-instant with butter and chia seeds. Just logged this to eat on Saturday
  • I do these in muffin tins and they are amazing! Very filling and can be a dumping ground for leftovers. Definitely get a Thermos as someone else has suggested. I can keep my soup hot until when I eat about 1. You just have to prime it. I might try and pile a bunch of those mini quiches in next time I make them! When I was…
  • I find that if I buy a better quality chocolate, the richer it is and I can just have a small portion to satisfy. I don't think anyone should give up the foods they love.
