Bread for me as well. It was just too calorie dense to be worth it. I would end up binging on it and then go over my calories for the day, and I would crash and be hungry again anyway. I've also cut back on the drinking

Go easy on it, I put some in my green smoothie and it was very bitter. I ended up giving the jar away because I couldn't stand it.

I enjoy a lighter fish like mahi-mahi blackened with some of Paul Prudhomme's (sp?) seasoning. For two filets I use two tablesspoons of butter.

I really want some hash browns now, I forsee brinner in my future!

I love Fage blueberry, either 2.00% or full fat if I have the calories.

I recently tried them in my waffle iron and they turned out better than anything I have ever done in the oven or on the stove. The plates are non stick so I didn't have to use any oil.

I buy a bag or bar of good quality dark chocolate, I find that I can satisfy my craving with just a piece or two with dark. My favorites are the Dove Promises and the Lindt bars. Gihardelli chocolate chips are pretty handy as well.

This is the best advice, you just have to learn how to read the menu. I have also found that most restaurants can make you a regular grilled chicken breast, even if it's not on the menu.

I love using butter lettuce for burgers, it wraps better than any other one I have tried. I have also switched to corn tortillas. The ones I find are typically half the calories of flour.

You shouldn't have to cook multiple meals, this is ridiculous. He is your husband not your child. If he doesn't like what you make, he can get off his butt and help. Unfortunately kids are harder, I know I was a PITA when I was a kid. My mom just tried different preparations of different vegetables until found something I…

Three shakes a day sounds like a gastrointestinal distaster waiting to happen. I hope you didn't pay too much for this. Why don't you just start out by eating that healthy food you were planning to incorporate back into your diet?

Chili's, but I ended up not even missing it. It just wasn't worth the calories to me.

For Wendy's I usually get one of their large salads and ask for double chicken on it. Most of the extras besides dressing come in packets so it's easy to control. They also have a great grilled chicken sandwich that has a huge chicken breast. Fortunately I hate their fries so I never get those. For chick fil a, I used to…

Agreed, but sometimes it's easier to grab a bar at the store.

2nd for quest. The cookies and cream one currently at my desk has 21 grams of it. I'm not sure if there are some with more protein out there, I stopped my search with Quest because they are the only ones I can stand the taste of.

Oh god I didn't know there was another one. I only know about Wheatbelly because my manicurist has celiac disease and that's how she has to eat. I did end up reading it, fortunately by borrowing it from her and not buying it. That WheatBelly pizza recipe made me sad. Thanks for posting the article!

I use ghee, or I clarify my own butter. You can have twice as much this way!

I have taken biotin for years and love it. My hair is great and my nails don't split and peel like they used to. And I do gel polish! D3 as well, my levels were not great last time I had blood work. Magnesium for muscle tightness. I also take fish and flax oil in the winter because my skin gets crazy itchy and red.

I didn't know this! Thank you!

Happy early birthday! I'm with the rest of the group, definitely celebrate! Get back to normal tomorrow.

I love Unjury, either of the chocolate flavors. Unfortunately you have to order online.

My mother and cousin both love their Nutribullets and use them almost daily. Two reasons I ended up with a Vitamix instead: 1. The container is larger, I tend to make things in batches to save time. 2. I had several gift cards to Williams Sonoma. I have used mom mom's and even though it doesn't get things as smooth as the…

I just have what I want whenever, just smaller portions. Cheat days go downhill for me very quickly!

I neglected to mention something further. When I was in my 20's I had pretty bad acne. I went to a dermatologist and they actually recommended I stop doing what I was doing (using hydrogen peroxide, scrubbing with harsh soaps, etc.). They told me to scrub gently with warm water and leave it at that. It worked pretty well.…

I didn't start experimenting with my diet until about five years ago, it doesn't have to be that long for you! Are those medications that you are using over the counter? If you have insurance I would start finding by finding a good dermatologist. They can give you some stronger products that will help take care of the…

There is for me, it took me more than 20 years and many doctors to figure it out. I used to take antibiotics and use Benzaclin and Retin A, but if I severly limit simple carbs like wheat and candy, and dairy, I don't break out like I used to. At my age it's nice to finally not have to deal with acne as much! Sorry, I…

Here is another vote for roasted!

This is the one I have, and it takes a beating and still works great http://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Digital-Kitchen-Silver/dp/B001N07KUE/ref=sr_1_5?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1434566395&sr=1-5&keywords=digital+food+scale
