  • It sounds like you are off to a good start! Cardio is the fastest way to burn calories, thus losing fat. As far as weight training, maybe cut back the amount of days that you do it, but I wouldn't cut it out completely. Also, reduce the weight and do more reps to reduce bulk, but keep the toning.   • Your dog should be fine on the walk. 3.5 Miles is really not that much more than 2 miles. He does not look overweight and looks like he is in good shape. Walking dogs on concrete is actually good for their nails because it naturally files them down. Unless the day is for some reason extremely hot, I would bring him along =]

  • I cannot speak for myself because i have not lost much yet, but when my mom lost alot of weight, she said people first started noticing around 20 lbs of weight loss, and it became more apparent closer to 30 lbs.
