Hey man I have been there before and only about a year ago. Im 19 and a college student as well so I know how hard it can be to stick to it. But you just have to get it done sometimes. Just think about the reason you want to get in shape in the first place every time you get discouraged. Stick to it, workout, track your…

Yeah you are just going to have to see where you went wrong, it could be too little or too many calories, maybe you should add exercise, figure out your macros etc.
-
1300 calories with 60 minutes of exercise? that is not enough food so your body is going to be resistant to losing weight. Set your macros to 50% protein 30% carbs 20% fat at 1600 calories, that should do the trick
-
You are absolutely under eating 1500 is too low 1700 is even too low, most likely you are in starvation mode at the moment, its ok though I made the same mistake when I started and its fixable. Your going to have to get to about 2000 calories or more for those abs to start showing, because at the calorie level your at…

1000 calorie deficit is a HUGE deficit I usually only recommend about 500, what is your current intake?
-
Dont worry about that! you have done great so far. 23lbs is fantastic. The inches will come soon its great that you are taking measurements too! Just stick with it and the inches will start dropping off soon I promise
-
Im currently bulking at 3250 calorie and 400g carbs 240g protein and 71g fat gaining about .75lbs a week and have a total goal of 25lbs before I cut
-
depends on what youve been eating at, if youve been eating at very low cal levels like it sounds like you have it will take a month or 2 to be able to eat that many calories without gaining fat, its called reverse dieting, but yes once you get there you will be able to gain more muscle mass

Well if you are an athlete a cookie here and there isnt going to hurt much but my recommendation would be quest bars, best tasting bars on the planet in my opinion and they are low sugar and all natural
-
They are a perfectly acceptable breakfast food but like you said your going to need higher protein. Why not try grabbing a vanilla greek yogurt too and you can eat that with the nature valley bars, you an even dip them in you want, I think they taste better that way
-
You can go ahead and sunstitute that, there is stevia in the shakeology as well so nothing to worry about
-
Its kind of hard to say because I dont know your workout routine or your diet very well but this is very possible and very common, it happens over time and your lose more weight, since I started my weight loss I have added 1600 calories to my daily intake and still lose weight. There probably isnt anything to worry about…
-
Actually they can have a large impact on your weight loss your body HATES inconsistency which can help us in terms of muscle confusion but when it comes to daily intake and exercise consistency wins every time. Your body cannot build of maintain its metabolism because your intake isnt consistent therefore it is most likely…

There really isnt a certain number that causes water retentionn its more a of a ratio thing, higher levels of sodium cause higher levels of water retention. Just keep your levels at or below the recommended levels are you shouldnt have a problem.

Empty the junk food out of the house is the easiest way to do it, and i totally understand the stress I am a full time student as well and work 2 jobs so I know it can be easy to get overwhelmed. I dont know about you but when I stress eat I usually dont even pay attention to the flavour of the food, so why not try eating…

with that activity level I would suggest about 2100-2200 calories a day for TDEE. and a macro split of 40c 40p 20f
-
Yeah starting to lift weights and do resistance training would be a good idea that will help you develop more definition and help the skin tighten up. But when it comes to loose skin after losing weight the kep its really just patience most of the time everything will go back to normal just takes a bit of time. And no that…

There is plenty of science to support my claims, multiple studies have been done showing that our bodies can only use around 35-40 g of protein max and 25g minimum to stimulate muscle protein synthesis, also for the spacing of carbs, try it yourself and see what happens there is definitely a noticeable difference. Finally…

Sometime I buy unflavoured sometimes I dont. But if I do I usually use 1tbsp pb2 and 1tbsp cocoa powder per scoop of protein powder, tastes great.
-
For cutting I would suggest about 1.25g per lb, the more protein you eat the easier it is to shed those stubborn pounds
-
And the study doesnt account for the calorie burn and muscle growth, also it says it improves heart muscle and bone functions, but which functions? How did they improve? Who was the study published by? Because about a month ago they overturned the years studies saying that wine was in any way good for your heart.
-
Uhm I have one but its a picture on my laptop so I could only email it to you
-
Concerning calories, the amount of meals per day does not matter at all but the nutrient timing does. For instance you can better use protein if it is spaced out every 4 hours for muscle growth. And its better to eat higher carb levels for breakfast and around your workout time than at night.
-
The problem is, clean eating means different things to different people, but usually it means cutting out all junk food, including the pasta you mentioned. Essentially it is eating only whole foods. And suprisingly its not that expensive if you dont try and buy the organic foods, just stick to single ingredient foods and…

at 1200 calories youll pretty much be hungry the whole time, that is not enough food, for 1600 calories, I would suggest 3 meals with 1-2 snacks in between
-
Yes that is correct that is the 2 ways of logging, but honestly if the current way your using it works stick with it!
-
Typically 1800 total calories in a day is the lowest a male should eat, if your losing about 5lbs in 5 weeks that one pound a week which is actually a great rate to lose at
-
You're both correct in ways. While it is true that some people can tolerate macros differently and different calorie levels, most people tend to see their metabolism as a predetermined thing, when in reality our metabolisms are constntly changing and its better to think of them the same way we see a muscle. You can…

Yes if you eat less junk food you will be able to lose weight as long as you stay within your calories, but if you are starting off this journey by asking what is the least I can do to lose weight this thing is going to get very hard very fast. Why not try cutting out most of the junk and just have one junk food a day,…

There is nothing wrong with picking a body you want to acheive, just keep in mind that you may achieve that body but it could look different on your frame. And honestly the best way to acheive that is to keep eating healthy and stick with the weight loss, and most importantly start weight lifting, weight lifting is the…
