Hey great job getting started! Sorry you havent lost weight yet but I can help! First instead of picking a calorie range lets just stick with 1500 and make sure you are withing 50 calories of that. Second go ahead and set your macros to 25% fat 40% and 35% carbs. Finally it sounds like you are working out ALOT relax on…

dont apologize man! no such thing as a stupid question. It is pretty low so you risk muscle loss more. I would either eat some exercise calories back, or go to TDEE and set it at 1800-1900 per day, personally I prefer TDEE
-
1600 is pretty low for a male but 40/40/20 should be good bud
-
Hey luke, hows it going? Dont stress about it too much your working hard and consistent so the inches will go, sometimes you can lose alot of weight and the inches take longer, it means you are most likely skinny fat, I was the same way. The only suggestion I would make would be to make sure you are hitting your macros and…

Hey I am pretty much like you, I dont really need much variety in my diet Im very comfortable with eating the same things. Eating the same food every day wont affect your metabolism or affect your weight loss, the problem would lie elsewhere, check your macros, based on above your protein is probably alittle low. Check…

ive seen all the video logs and love them! and I know the point of a reverse diet isnt to lose, but it is very common for weight loss to happen.

dude metabolic damage is 100% actual science. check the studies
-
The pm was to Wheelhouse because I enjoy talking about this stuff, and second that is why I stated multiple reasons there could be a plateau
-
They both stated and cited example of having to reverse diet out of a contest prep diet. Which is for most people a regular weight loss diet. for example one of his clients had to reverse diet even when cutting at 700g of carbs. The main point of reverse dieting is increasing your metabolism so that you can cut at a higher…

Wheelhouse I dont have a link, but I would log to help! he mentions metabolic damage at high calorie levels in the podcast about sohee lees contest prep and there is another one with eric trexler. They are both on his website. I really enjoy his podcast heads up though they are all an hour long. also the 3600 calories…

Hey Melly! I have done it and I know about 30 people who have done it personally. It is a fantastic program and is very easy to follow. It does get great results it all depends on your preferences. If you like mfp and dont mind tracking then you can get one of the other workout programs for the same price. But if youd…

Dont forget they have a thermogenic effect on your body, for all those gainz
-
Sydking, check out some of Layne Nortons blogs, Metabolic damage can happen at any calorie level if you reduce your calorie intake for an extended period of time. All body builders including myself experience metabolic damage even at 3600 calories per day

Hey awesome job working out so much! I love t25, but 2 in a day? thats crazy haha. There are a bunch of things that could be causing your plateau so ill try to help here but it will be easier over private message. 1 and the most likely is what is called metabolic damage, you are working out ALOT and your calories arent low…

Hey becky awesome job! that is what I try to tell people to do but most dont listen haha. It is pretty much the best way to log because really you cant mess up that way, you can hit your calories and macros perfectly if you track it beforehand
-
Hey amber! glad to have you on mfp! stick with the 1800 calories, yes it is alot of food but the more you can eat and lose weight the better! hower with those 1800 calories you should not be eating back you exercise calories. So that means you get 1800 calories per day no matter what. Keep plugging in you are gonna do…

The woman at the gym is wrong! 14.7% is fantastic for women! around 12% is where you see abs so you are in great shape! although Im almost positive your BMR estimation is way too low, most women lose weight at 1600cals so there is no way your BMR is 1300

Hey great job overcoming your body image issues, that can be so hard! I had issues as well and after some work Ive never been happier. As for the bloating, it could be a number of things. Dont bother cutting carbs it will have little to no effect on your bloating. Typically though bloating is very common when starting a…

Hey great job on the water consumption that is the hardest part for some people! So a have 2 main tips for you. 1 is honestly if you arent doing anything important at night then just go to sleep, most of the time when I get hungry late at night I just go to sleep to avoid any temptation. 2 Is it could be sommething wrong…

Hey man, 3 meals a day is fine! meal timing wont affect your weight loss. The only timing you would need to worry about it protein but only if your weightlifting. I eat 4-5 meals a day because I dont like eating a ton of food at one time, just do what keeps you full and what you prefer. keep up the good work bud
-
if you put your weigh ins into the progress tab it does it automatically
-
hey man, we need alittle more info to help with that, exercise weight, goals, etc. Ill pm you so we dont blow up the forums
-
Hey kezia! yeah there is actually no scientific research that says eating more frequently helps your metabolism, alot of people like myself do eating 5-6 times a day because of the huge amount of food we eat but it wont effect your weight loss, however intense exercise will increase your metabolism and so will reverse…

whats up! awesome job on those first 8lbs! so 1-2lbs per week is the best rate to lose at, try not to have cheat days though, if you want to eat something, then no problem jsut make it fit into your calories and macros, havent had a cheat day in a year, but during that time ive had beer, ice cream, and fried chicken. Good…

It happens all the time plateaus are part of the process, increase your calorie by 100-200 per day and you will not be eating back your exercise calories. And dont worry about gaining weight it is alot harder to gain weight then you think and when you increase your calories you will most likely start to lose weight again.…
