I weigh myself everyday but realize it does fluctuates depending on what i have eaten or drank from the day before and its really just weight of your food in your intestines or how much salt is in your system as you may retain water weight. I only post as it slowly goes down not all the variances.. You are the lightest…

Just remember it's a healthy lifestyle and not to beat yourself over a few slips.. its all in portion control and cutting out most of the bad stuff. :) but we have to eat realistic too. All I do is just eat less the next day or workout more that day.. :) just keep plugging away and one day you will look at yourself and go…

I found what helped me the most is goals. Goals that you are accountable for. The first goal I did was join a contest at my gym. The big Loser. It was for eight weeks and the winner got money. I am living pay check to pay check so I treated it like my job to go to the gym and it worked. I lost 25 lbs in 8 weeks. My team…

Treadmills need to be calibrated from time to time but are fairly accurate. Just make sure it can put your age and weight to get the accurate calorie count. Mfp is only accurate for a certain weight so I definitely don't use it as you lose more weight you burn less calories... when I walk for 65 min on an average speed of…

Well I do and don't agree with the above statements. Yes, you do have to cut them out of your lifestyle but they can be replaced with healthy alternatives that are similar. For example you can have dark chocolate and add them to something you can eat like bran muffins, keeping in mind portion control. Just try to eat…

It really depends on you. If you find it too easy with light weights.. increase.. Just remember the more effort you put into it, the more rewards you will reap. Good luck in your weight loss journey :)

liquids?? .. how can this be sustainable? You have to eat eventually. The best way to go is still just to have a lifestyle change and eat healthy and start to excerise regularly...

My favorite snacks are fruit, yogurt, kashi bars, almonds (but remember they are very high in calories so make sure to eat just a little), celery with peanut butter, fruit cups, carrots, fruit to dip in yogurt (ie strawberries, apples, grapes), berry shake, blueberries in skim milk, just a few off the top of my head.. hope…

You need to vary your routine about every 3 to 4 weeks so I say go for it!!!

Here's some more information I found for you that will help a lot... You've been trying to eat less sodium — just a pinch of table salt on your baked potato and a dash to your scrambled eggs. The main sources of sodium in the average U.S. diet. But a pinch and a dash can quickly add up to unhealthy levels of sodium,…

The higher the sodium the more you will retain water, try to stay away from high sodium foods. No processed foods is best. You should try to shop on the outer edges of the store instead of the aisles. Most food is in the aisles is bad for you. Whole grains, vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, yogurt, skim milk etc.. all on…

Just be careful with all the health bars, I have looked a lot and found Kashi bars are the best , the rest seem to have a lot of sodium. As for nuts again High calorie intake just make sure to limit how much. I stick to almonds (12 at one sitting).

My salads I refridgerate until I hit the road and put in a cooler lunch bag.. been at it for almost a year and no ill effects :0) ..

Using pills does not keep the weight off, you may lose some but if your not eating right or excerising the weight will come right back on. The key to success is to change your lifestyle.. eating healthy is the first start, adding excerise is the key to maintain and lose. Good luck :)

I am constantly on the road, I get everything ready in advance (usually Sunday night) and also have no way of heating my food. I usually take any of these items: Kashi bars, apples, oranges, bananas, peeled carrots, salad with 3 oz chicken and dressing on the side), sardines, whole wheat tortilla wraps with ham, sprouts,…

It takes your body a little while to respond, you are fine if it happens for one day :) .. just don't do it everyday that's when you get yourself in trouble. Have a great day!

I found a site that said to calcuate your protein intake (.54 x your weight) = protein for the day. I hope that helps :)
-
I found it best if you either ate two hours before your workout or something very light just before like yogurt or half a banana. But you need protein and carbs right after to help your muscles be able to rebuild. I suggest a protein shake.

My favorite is what I called my tortilla egg wrap. I scramble 2 eggs and cook in a thin layer. Then 2 small tortilla wraps (I used Dempster's Body Wise) and cut the eggs in half (should resemble a large thin crepe). Then put a layer of whatever you want (I like mustard but you can use Salsa or ketchup or even cheese as…

I feel the same way sometimes. I just know that I keep trying and this time I am determined to get there. To make myself accountable I joined "The Big Loser" at my gym and a fitness class that goes 6 days a week. I too was more of a "talker" then a do'er. But eventually you just have to make a decision and stick to it. I…

good luck !! My original weight was 274 lbs.. i lost 75 lbs but as soon as i heard under 200 i too stopped. I felt fabulous and i celebrated by stopping too and now I am 40 lbs heavier and starting over again. I was so miserable at 240, the extra weight makes me so cranky. I knew what i had to do but being depressed is so…

According to Jillian from the Biggest Loser it's because either you need to step it up a notch in your workouts or there is something interferring with your weight loss in your diet. Your body adjusts to what you do every 4 to 5 weeks so you need to change it up. If your doing the exact same thing over and over and doing…

Look weight fast??? and in 3 days???? just follow these easy steps... sounds more like an advertisement then a blog. Every one knows that losing weight IS NOT EASY, it's a difficult struggle for everyone. I have fallen off the "wagon" as I like to say on more then one occassion but eventually i go as I start to feel…
