Several Reasons: I am trying to expand my food options. I am slowly adding things that I considered "gross" to things I eat. For example I used to hate tuna...I ate it for lunch today with rice and enjoyed it. Cottage cheese is very versatile....wanted to see if I can give it another try.

Yeah it is just water weight. Sucks. You can fight the water retention however. I used to drink less water around the time of my period and working out harder to sweat out the excess water weight. Also they have wraps you can buy (the ones that go around your stomach) that are insulated and help you lose your water weight.…
