I completed 22 of 30 workouts with 30 Day Shred but was really busy and out of town a lot (so I didn't always eat properly) and I was impressed with 1) toning of my body including arms, shoulders and legs and 2) improved cardio stamina. I've since moved on to Jillian's latest video, 'Ripped in 30' (just started Week 2) and…

Level 2, Day 1 this morning. Not a bad workout but I definately do not like two plank moves in a row for the cardio in circuit 2. I think I'll do the plank jacks then high knees instead of the mountain climbers. Two planks in a row is hard on the wrists. Some of the ab moves are pretty hard to do as well, I am on the…

I used a combination of 5lbs and 2lbs depending on the exersize. For a lot of the shoulder raise/fly type exersizes I used the lighter weights. For bicepts and tricepts I used the 5lb ones. When I was at my parents for the weekend I just used large cans of pasta sauce instead of taking my weights with me. It worked! If you…

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/62929-for-those-confused-or-questioning-eating-your-exercise-calo I read this last night and it makes a lot of sense to eat the net 1200 calories if you are tying to lose weight.

L1, Day 6 done! One more day of Level 1 and I am moving on. My plan is to do each level for 7 days, we'll see how that goes. I won't be done in 28 days (4 levels @ 7 days a week) but so far I've only missed one day so I should be done within 30 :] Medoria - I do a bit both versions (modified & advanced), it depends on the…

W1, Day 5 done! The running man was easier today than earlier this week ~ I take that as a good sign. Ruhimaach, is it safe to say that Week 2 has more plank exersizes? I was not a fan of mountain climbers in 30DS, plank jacks were ok though.

Spider crawls? I am scared already, lol!

Level 1, Day 4 complete! Keep it up ladies.... we'll have toned bodies for summer yet!
-
I always logged it as Circuit Training - General, 20 minutes, as I never did the cool down and she took too long transitioning sometimes so I didn't think it was the 24 minutes it comes out to with the warm up. She does a better job in "Ripped in 30" of getting to the next set. Hope that helps!

Level 1, Day 3 done! I also hate the running man but it should be burning lots of calories so I'll keep up as best I can. All it reminds me of for now is mountain climbers from 30DS but without the shoulder burn. Also, I am using 5 lb weights for the first 2 strength sets but downgrade to 2 lb weights for the last set ---…

Level 1, Day 2 done! I admit that I am a bit sore today as I haven't done a workout since last week when I finished '30 Day Shred'. Definately loving the variety and pace of 'Ripped in 30'. Crystal9999 ~ Feel free to post with us once you start... they are both a 30 day dvd and I couldn't do all my workouts in that time as…

Level 1, Day 1 done! Good energy and better variety with Ripped than previous dvds. Feel free to join in anytime this week!

Ripped in 30 came in the mail last week so my plan is to start Monday! I will start a new thread tonight so have a look at my profile so you can bump it!

I like Stephanie's idea - give her the shopping list for all of the ingredients. If she doesn't like it then your fiance needs to man up and talk to his sister himself. A good friend of mine starting decorating cakes 1.5 years ago. She's made over 210 cakes! You can check them out at 'Long Tall Sally Cakes' on facebook.…

Level 3, Day 7 yesterday, Day 8 today! I am done shredding as I will be away from home for the next 4 days. I completed 22 of 30 workouts and am happy with that. My weight loss is only 2 lbs but I have lost an inch from my bust, hips and thighs. 1.5 off my waist. And, I love how toned my arms are now :] Starting Ripped in…

Yay Jennasan! Glad you stuck it out with us and are now done :] I did Level 3, Day 6 this morning.... only a few days left!

Level 3, Day 5.... I will run out of days this week to do Level 3 for 10 days. I leave Wed after work for another union trip, gone for 4 days. My goal is 3 more days of Level 3 for a total of 8 days at this level and to start Ripped in 30 when I get back from the trip!

We went to a fundraiser Wine Tasting event last night.... didn't do too bad on the snacks - mostly fruit and veggies, I piece of bagette with some sort of cheese ball spread and two crackers w/ meat and cheese. I definately enjoyed the wine more! Hence, no Level 3 for me today -- good housework day though :]

Awesome job 1Crazymom! I can't wait to fit into the rest of my old summer clothes, 1/2 of them fit now, I hope to be into all of them at the end of JM new DVD. I did Level 3, Day 4 today. I also ordered JM "Ripped in 30" on Amazon last night. I plan on starting when I get back from a trip away for union stuff next weekend.…

Yep, 4 when I include myself! Congrats to almost being done. I am a few days behind.... Level 3, Day 3 for me today. I didn't end up at the bootcamp (raining) or shredding last night. Up early this morning before work to get back to it though :]
-
I might skip my 30DS workout today and go to a 1 hour outdoor bootcamp class (if they don't take drop ins then I'll be doing the level 3 workout). They just started last Wednesday and it will be offered twice a week for the next couple of months! RE: Ripped in 30 - I haven't checked Amazon yet but that is where I bought 30…

Level 3, Day 2 done. Definately felt less awkward today. Is it just me or are there only like 3 of us still responding to this thread? Too bad we lost so many. I know that I have not completed 10 workouts at each level but I am trying to stick as close to the 30 days as I can. I also find that 10 days of the same workout…

Level 3, Day 1 done! I am happy for a change in routine. I couldn't use my 5 lb weights for everything though. So much plank - very glad my core has been getting stronger!
-
Level 2, Day 6 done on Thursday. Need to workout yet today though.
-
Level 2, Day 5 done. Been busy or too tired to work out for the past couple of days. Felt great to get the workout in this morning though. I'm sticking to the 10 days at each level for now. 5 more to go on Level 2 before I try Level 3. I did the plank jacks for the first time today which was cool!
-
Way to go Jennasan! I am really close to my first goal now and it feels great :] I was out of town for 3.5 days but was able to do the workouts on 2 of the days - in my parents living room! My dad thought I was a bit crazy, thankfully he was occupied outside raking the lawn for most of the time. My mom didn't seem to have…

Sorry to hear about your pet :[ Level 2 Day 3 complete, still following Anita for many of the moves though.
-
L2 D2 for me. I did not do the plank twists at the end though. I don't think I could have held up my own body weight, even if was only for a minute! Great idea to do bicycles, I think I will sub that in for the rest of Level 2.
-
W2 L2 D1 ~ Wow, I actually like level 2 although I definately did Anita's moves for most of the exersizes. I also logged it as 15 min as it was my first day on level 2 and I definately had to watch and catch up a bit. I am thinking of getting a heart rate monitor to get the most accurate #.
