Well done. It is a great feeling when the measurements show such a loss. I've just finished the first 6 weeks of eating healthily and exercising properly and lost 9 inches from each thigh! xxx

Glad to hear everyone is doing so well. Today marked the end of the first 6 weeks of my training and start of the next 6 before holiday! We did the run I did initially in 30 minutes and i am pleased to say that today i completed it in 19 xxx

I have to disagree with your statement about excess protein being turned into fat. Unless my personal trainers qualification in nutrition and diet is complete bunkem and he talks poo.... Excess protein is broken down and expelled from the body NOT stored as fat. Carbs however are stored for future use xxx

Edorice - believe it or not my running outfit is from a UK grocery store called Sainsbury's!! The whole thing cost me under £20 xxx

My best advice would be start slow and build yourself up. I do a mixture of interval training and running during the week. The interval training has really built up my endurance and I can now run further than I ever thought I would! I think it's a fantastic thing to head for! xxx

Seriously - you are my inspiration on this site. When I first starting serioulsy logging and joining in on the forum I saw the pic of you in the black dress with the paisley on it and thought wow I want to be able to wear stuff like that! xxx
