I hit the gym usually 4x a week but most days I do 2-3 workouts/classes about 6-7 hours/week, Water Aerobics, HIIT, Zumba and Spin just to name a few. I'm trying to pin down a new routine right now that gets me lifting and starting to run. I have a goal to run a 5k in May.

Nutrient wise – protein, iron, zinc, etc. – there's no difference between steak that is cooked medium rare or well done. The rest comes down to personal preference.

My friends Aunt told me I was melting away. It was a good thing to hear because the scale as been a huge roller coaster the last month or so. I need to re-measure to see the progress in inches lost vs. the scale this month.

How is it going? Did you meet your October goal. I slip and flip and occasionally full on belly flop on my goals but the recently I'm adapting a slow and steady approach. So far so good.

My NSV of the week is that I was able to do some of the mountain climbers in my Boot Camp class this morning. I did the modified version too but I was pretty pumped to do some of them "regular". I also have improved the number of push ups I can do, still on my knees but adding to the number is a good thing. Very proud of…

A few years back I did a half marathon 2 years in a row and I beat the time I had set for myself. That was about 80 pounds ago. So now I'm proud that I'm back to working out and getting back into the habit of fitness.

Oh man what do I look forward to... not being the slowest person in my group fitness classes or in a 5k. I own it don't get me wrong I know I'm a rock star because I'm doing it regardless but to not be the last one would be... AMAZING at least once. :) I look forward to being able to fit my booty in a roller coaster seat…

I have been dabbling in lifting and love it. Trying to get a schedule down for me. Any tips or tricks welcome. Add me if you would like. I definitely notice a difference in my body since I started lifting.

The today = about 2 months ago I took them for progress pictures to share with coworkers. I'm down about 34 pounds at the time.

Definitely feel to cold all the time at only a 20 pound loss. So I'm not looking forward to being cold the rest of my life, but it is a small price to pay for losing weight, lots more to go for me, but from what I've read I've got some great things to look forward to.
