First off you are doing awesome! Secondly tell them that you want to lose the weight permanently for the long hull and that you aren't trying to find a quick fix solution. Most people who lose the weight too fast gain it right back again and more which is clearly what you are trying to avoid. Then tell them to mind their…

I just sent you a request! I don't know my username. probably something like tiptona21 or close to that!

This is me! I lost 50 pounds a couple of years ago. This past year because of some medicine and other life factors gained 40 of it back. Wish I would have been able to stop the gain earlier but I was in denial. Oh well. Back on the train for good!

I think you will be fine eating less on some days. Sometimes you just don't need to eat that much because you aren't hungry. As someone else said looking at weekly intake vs daily intake may be better right now. Some weeks will be good, some weeks will be bad, especially with the summer BBQ season starting and summer…

Hey guys! I'm getting married in June 2015 and I'm trying to drop 50 lbs by then. I went dress shopping last weekend and started crying after 3 dresses because I looked aweful. I don't plan on buying a dress for a couple of months because of that. Looking around September/October that way I don't have to buy too many dress…

Maybe try biking if you have access to a bike.

You could also try a protein shake in the morning for breakfast as well. That would get your protein up, especially if you don't want to make eggs or something else.
-
I agree with this. I would drink the Special K shakes as a snack when I would get hungry a while back. Sometimes if I was running late I would drink one for breakfast to hold me over until I was actually able to get something else to eat.

I would slowly up your intake. You will most likely gain weight to begin with. Don't fret because of it. But definitely up your intake.

Maybe try spreading out your calories during the day a little better. Also, the not exercising this week probably hasn't helped much. Try to get back into gym and you probably start losing again.

Wedding dresses/bridesmaids dresses run small. They told you to order based on your measurements for a particular dress. Don't worry, I doubt you are a 14. As somone who has to start dress shopping, I'm freaking out a little bit because of that as I plan on losing quite a bit of weight. I would suggest trying to add a bit…

I was on Zoloft for just under a year and gained 30 lbs. It took me a while to get it back off + sum. When I was really strict about what I was eating and working out a ton it finally came off. It will come off it will just take a while to. Be patient. The zoloft did help for my depression/anxiety though it was just the…

See if you can pick up some cheap 5-10 lb weights at a goodwill type store or even walmart. That would help incorporate weight lifting without spending the money to join a gym.

There has been a lot of information in the news lately about women exercising while pregnant. I think it's all about personal preference. You need to listen to your body while working out to determine if what you are doing is good for you. I think that you should be fine exercising but will probably need to cut back on the…

It is going to take time for your body to adjust to your routine. If you have upped your exercise a lot then you are probably have some water rention which is going to effect measurements and weight changes. I would say be patient. Keep doing what you are doing for a while (like 3-4 weeks or so) and if nothing is changing…

I'm not a mom so I don't understand how completely busy you are but would it be possible for you to work out on your lunch break? That way you are getting your workout in during the day and can relax a little at night after everything is done. I know some people don't like to work out at lunch because of what they are…

I have done this and my boyfriend just looked at me like I was crazy. He didn't truly understand how much I love cheese until that point. We don't keep block cheese in the house anymore which is a conscious decision on my part. I can't trust myself with it even though it is so good. :)

Stick to one plate. That will help a lot. And slow down your eating (if you eat fast) so that you really taste your food. Also maybe have something high in protein before you go to the event. That way you aren't starving when you get there. If you plan on having dessert make sure you only have one dessert, not one of…

I believe 2 new people have stepped up to be moderators so the group will be continuing on. I'm happy about it because like you I need major motivation to get my butt in gear!

Did today's challenge + an arm workout + playing with the dogs. Heart rate was up during that 45 minutes

I agree with other people. Start with the thrift store and see if you can get some clothes there for relatively cheap. It will at least keep you looking alright until you want to buy new clothes.

Hi everone. My name is Amanda and I have been using MFP on and off for the past couple of years. I lost a bunch of weight about 3-4 years ago and it has crept back on slowly over the past year. I now need to get serious about getting rid of it for good. This looks like a great motivating group that will help me get back…

I have a feeling this was already said but I think both of you need to go to a counselor. Then you can get an outside persons opinion who is qualified and has experience in this type of thing. If he outright refuses to do that then I would say cut your losses and get on with your life. No one should make you feel bad about…

I'm 5'3". My current weight is 172.5 and I want to get down to 125. As I get closer to the goal I will probably evaluate if I need to go down further but that is my goal now.

Way to go! I'm slowly working on the self control. I, like you, just don't bake cookies or brownies or cakes etc., becaue I don't currently have the will power to not eat the dough. It just tastes so good that I just want to taste it again and again and again. I'm always super proud of myself when I don't grab the…

I weigh myself daily, right after I go to the bathroom first thing in the morning. I do it the same way each time. I only record my weight once a week in the app though, usually on Saturday mornings. Seeing it daily for me is a good reminder that even though I was good the day before my weight can still go up. Especially…

Honestly, you need to go to someone about the teacher. I don't know what your school system is like but you need to go to the dean of students, like somone else mentioned. Or a school counselor. Take all of the evidence with you because it sounds like you have a lot. That is ridiculous. You are trying to better yourself…
