  • This is my recommendation: http://kripalu.org/article/1205?utm_source=website&utm_medium=homepage&utm_campaign=yogaathome Kripalu.org is a site for a residential yoga retreat center in the Bershires (US). I visit once a year and LOVE it. Gentle yoga is really gentle, and the moderate is a workout! These are the only free…
  • I'm in NC, and just started running a month ago. We're having unusual lows and I've gone out at 25F. I think that's as low as I can go. But, I love it because I know everyone who drives past me and sees me out there is going, "Wow, she's bada$$." And that makes me feel awesome.
  • I just started my journey this week, so I don't really have a big weight loss goals for the end of the year deadline. but I am hoping to finish the C25k program strong!
  • @Davemunger: I'm also in NC and just started to feel a lil guilty for talking about "cold mornings." Cold in the Carolinas vs. cold in Canada is hardly the same thing. lol. I was patting myself on the back for going out when it was 45 degrees one morning!
  • I started on Sunday! I got up this morning--and I'm not an AM person--and did the program. It felt good and I think I might make the morning training session part of my regular routine.
  • Thanks for asking this question. I started C25K last week and have decided I like it. I even got up this AM to "get it n," but wondered if I would continue to do so as the mornings become even colder. Now I know what to do! Dry wick layers! And stuff I can easily find at Target.
