Now I will admit I just cannot follow Chalene's jab, cross, hook, uppercut sequence so I just jab the whole time...lol.

LOVE Turbo Fire!! One huge benefit is I have been doing it for 6 days now and in that time I have lost 1 pound AND 1/2" off my waist! What I love also is that Chalene (the TF instructor) does not talk a whole lot like Jillian. Jillian just gets a little annoying after you have heard the same thing for 6 workouts...while…

^^ LOVE this! My feeling exactly. My guess is they will only show the before/after photos of the winners.

[/quote] Hello. I have thought about telling my counsellor about it but I just don't feel comfortable at all. There are times as well when she says things that trigger me and I want to tell her that it triggers me but I don't feel like I can. I think that the counselling place is private, not an NHS thing ... but I'm not…

^^ this. Plus like the others said you are walking A TON so that should off-set any "junk" you eat. Plus you know you get free ice water from most of the eating places so you don't have to worry about eating soda. But just ENJOY Disney!!!

I am from the US living in the UK and from what I can tell they are the same thing. My friend has the jar stuff from the UK stores and it tastes just the same as the US stuff.

I would recommend talking to your doctor and see what he or she suggests.

I always make sure I take them after I eat. I have them in my purse so I remember to take them usually at lunch. If I forget lunch, I just take them after dinner :)
-
I love them!! That is all I take :) I think it helps support weight loss, simply because it is giving your body some nutrients that it needs.

I agree with the suggestion for the local markets, they have the best (and freshest!) fruit around. Or Aldi is a great option, I buy a lot of my fruit there as well and it is pretty cheap. Another option is Tesco (they usually have sales on their fruit like buy 2 for £3 on grapes, etc). Side note, my husband is US military…

I have taken them and I literally just threw them out...lol. I get kind of a jittery, light-headed feeling and I just realized that it honestly is not worth the potential side effects for a few pounds of weight loss. I know it sounds so cliche but honestly the best way to lose the weight is by diet and exercise and not…

^^^^^^^ 100% THIS

I hope it is because it is hard to get it overseas unless you want to pay $60 at GNC...haha. I imagine the soldiers took quite a few before a PT test and maybe that is the cause.
-
Ahh yeah I see. Well maybe see if you can find some buddies to go lift with. My husband goes with a few guys after work each day or sometimes during lunch. Maybe the weight gain is muscle? With the workout you are doing that could be possible :)
-
If you fail your PT test you won't be active duty for long :)...does that help motivate? Haha Do you get PT time in your workday? Have squadron PT? Talk with your supervisor and ask if you can incorporate an extra 30 minutes into your lunch/beginning/end of your duty day to go to the gym.
-
No but you can create your own workouts. Just add that time and calorie burn in.
-
Agree with this. I am taking Oxy-Elite Pro, have been for almost 2 weeks and have lost 7 pounds so far. It keeps me from wanting to snack during the workday. I have also been working out, drinking a ton of water (which you need to do with OEP). Took it last year, same result :). The weight gain was basically moving to a…

I still work out...it is just your muscles that havent been used like that before. Stretch well and if you want you can forego the weights. I am strange though...I LOVE that pain :) it lets me know I did something right when my muscles are a little sore.

Deserves to be repeated over and over again!!!

Totally not healthy but their mac and cheese is just so yummy :).
-
@SilyKity I see some Kate Bekinsale and also Robin from How I Met Your Mother.
-
@ sazzy I actually see a bit of Catherine O'Hara (the mom from Home Alone).

@mostaverage - Jeff Goldbloom

I use 5 pound weights for it. I tried 8 pounds and they were killing me...lol
-
If we go out to a pub I will get a pint of Fosters, Carling, Karlsburg etc. I like that "light beer" taste...haha. And in a pint is only about 220 calories which isn't horrible I guess :)
-
I agree with this 100% as well. For me personally if I am in the gym and working out then there is no harm in a slice of pizza, a bowl of ice cream or some other yummy treat. Everything in moderation is my motto. I may not lose weight as fast as someone who cut all the "junk" out of their diet but I will be happier then I…

I think his situation is a lot like that of an alcoholic...you cannot make him want to change. He has to want it himself. All I can suggest is maybe find something you two can do together that would require you to be active. Hiking, biking, etc. Good luck!!

I am American but we are stationed here in England and I keep waiting for summer :). Even all the locals keep telling me that all this rain is not normal for "summer". At least the hosepipe ban was lifted...haha!
-
I have a Molly too but she is a German Shepherd :). She will run with me and actually keeps me motivated since she LOVES to run and would prefer that to walking...lol
-
I am an Air Force wife :) we are currently stationed in England until 2014. I was doing great while he was in Korea but when we moved here I pretty much just stopped going to the gym and have gained what I lost :(. So getting back on track now to get healthy and awesome again!
