  • I'm not dizzy while I am actually on it just when I get off..kind of like when you were young and would spin in circles then stop KWIM. I did slow it down...from 6 mph to 4 mph then I went to 3 for a minute then 2.5 for a minute then 2 for a minute. I couldn't make myself go below 2 because that is SOOOO slow.

  • I actually do this on nights that I know the kids have ball practice or a game. It is easy to premeasure them and throw them into a sandwich bag to take with me. Keeps me from wanting the crunchy nachos and cheese too :) I usually do a 1/2 of serving of each to make kind of a snack mix to go.
  • Try adding ice to make is more of a slush and not so runny..try a couple of cubes then add as you want.
  • When I have calories left over but not much sodium left I head to the nuts LOL. Seriously though, walnuts, almonds and pecans are pretty high in calories and protein and low in sodium (of course the unsalted nuts)
  • I only log my workouts. Like you I don't bother with the "daily" chore logging. I do however log if I am on a trip all day with all walking such as touring.

  • I haven't been able to kick my soda habit yet either..I reward myself a pepsi max only after I drink all my water for the day. This is a bit step for me because this family is so addicted to Pepsi we took 2 cases with us to Disney World for 8 days (only coke products there).

  • I agree measure, weigh, then measure again. I have found that on more dense foods and grains it is better to weigh in grams than to use a measuring spoon or cup. I saw a post on here about that and when I actually did it I was surprised at how much I measured over without knowing when using the spoons and measuring cups.

  • My weight doesn't go up actually I stay on schedule with losing even on TOM. I am actually at the end of mine this month and my weight has dropped almost 2 lbs this week. I do however drink EXTRA water (about 24 oz more) each day during TOM. Drinking the extra water makes my cravings decrease during that week.
