It depends on the day and how much I exercise. When I ride long, I eat back most of my calories. When I do average workouts 60-90 minutes, I typically eat back about half the calories. I usually go by hunger and let that dictate what I eat back. Don't eat them for the sake of eating them.

I went low carb (<20 per day) a few years ago. Totally killed my sugar addiction and I no longer have any cravings. I don't eat any grain products at all and don't miss them. The only time I will have a craving for sugar or grains is when I drink alcohol. So I limit that as well. I now stick to around 50 net carbs a day -…

I always plan a stop when riding long distances. I carry two bottles and if it's really hot then I need to stop around mile 30 to refill.

Yes it gets increasingly more difficult to drop weight. I was in a very good spot with my weight, diet and exercise then I had lots of life changes around Jan/Feb.
