I dragged this thread on?? You have basically hijacked this thread!! And don't use quotation marks to say I said something that I didn't! I appreciate 90% of the responses. You are one of the few that I find to be negative, rude, and sarcastic. I don't like my words being twisted. Please, go away. I will pm some of the…

How sad. Most people on MFP seem to genuinely care and want to help. But, unfortunately, it only takes 1 or 2 (or 3 or 4) to take an innocent question and turn it into such a negative experience. Wonder how many folks have left MFP just because of the rudeness? If someone knows what the answer was that I wanted...please…

Thank you! Makes sense to me.

I completed the entire Alpha and Beta. I love it! I didn''t lose any weight while doing it, but my body has changed and I am much stronger and defined. I still do one of the T25 workouts everyday, I mostly do the more difficult ones. It did wonders for my core.

Thank you for your input. However, I am not here looking for sarcasm. I was just innocently looking for some advice. If that isn't something that you can offer, please don't post. Thank you.

In a nutshell, it seems that the majority of people responding to my post feel that I am eating a lot more calories than what I am logging. I am logging everything and I don't think it would be healthy for me to eat less than what I am eating now. So, basically I have learned that I should eat more, I should eat less, I…

I measure my dressing, bacon bits, and mayo with a TBSP. I just don't weigh it.
-
I measure out my creamer with a measuring spoon. I counted out my chips. They were the uniform round ones to those of you that are going to tell me how far off that can be. Weighing everything that I eat is not sustainable for me. I don't know anyone that does that, and I have a lot of fit friends. Just sayin.....I don't…

I disagree. I measure. I just don't weigh most things other than meat . If you are saying that I'm not losing weight because I didn't weigh my tortilla chips yesterday and that resulted in me eating 13 instead of the 12 I should have had, or that the 1/8 cup of granola I measured out was really 70 calories instead of 60…

I don't eat peanut butter.

I don't wear a HRM. I estimate my exercise calories just based off what others say they are burning doing those exercises. I went with a lower number to be safe. But, I don't eat back my exercise calories, so should that even matter?
-
I am sure that works great for those that have the time and desire, but I just don't see myself weighing a spoonful of peanut butter or a tsp of sugar. If the calories listed on food packages is that far off, how do I know I can trust my scale? Or how do I know if the weight of that particular food is really the calories…

No, I am sure that my calories were higher up until this summer when I cut way back on breads and sweets. I wasn't counting before that. But I have never had to eat much to be full. I can guarantee that prior to those cutbacks I was definitely over 1200, but probably still low compared to what some are saying I should be…

I guess my answer wasn't exactly accurate. I have made some changes since I started working out. Over the summer and into the fall I have extremely limited my bread intake. I love bread. I barely eat it anymore and when I do it is not the stuff I once ate. I have also limited candy/sugar intake. Not that I ate that much,…

But, if the workouts are stressing my body and I am not giving it enough fuel, shouldn't I be feeling HUNGRY?
-
Over a period of about 2 years I gained 10 lbs. A year ago I decided to start working out and lost 3 lbs between Nov 2012 and Feb 2013. No weight loss since, even though I have increased my workouts!
-
My weight has been consistently fluctuating between 163-165 over the last 8 months or so. I lost about 3 lbs between November 2012 and February 2013. November 2012 is when I began working out.
-
Family ate the rest.
-
I typically log my food in right before or right after I eat.
-
I have been eating like this for as long as I can remember, but started paying closer attention a few months ago when the scale wasn't moving even though I was working out. I have been counting calories for over a month. I don't have any issues that I know of, but haven't been checked. I use a scale and measuring cups. I…

But, the reason that I am not eating more is not because I am paranoid to gain. It is because I am simply not hungry. If I was hungry, I would eat. Trust me! I love to eat! It just seems counterproductive to eat more and eat when I am not even hungry because I want to lose weight.

What do you mean by "toning work out"? Yes, I do pilates or sculpting every day, but I also do a workout by Shaun T called T25 which kicks *kitten*. I also do a Fast & Furious Insanity workout a few times a week. I workout for about an hour almost everyday. Dripping sweat. What I am doing has got to be better than going…

When I said weekends are rough, I meant the quality of my food choices. My calories are still the same.
-
I typically stay in a good calorie range. I just mean that my choices are not as great. Such as today, I had pizza, sausage, and crackers. Yesterday I had Leann Chin's chicken (high sodium!) Not typical, but my calories are still under 1200. I made an Herbalife Shake tonight just to get a few more calories but it just…

I don't feel disgusting after eating. I feel disgusting when I eat more just so I can reach 1200 or more calories when I am not hungry. I don't know why you feel I am paranoid about losing. I would like to lose weight, but I don't think I am paranoid about it.
-
I wrote down what I ate in a journal. I have been exercising religiously for a year. Pilates or sculpting everyday. And cardio or strength every day.
-
In my own defense regarding my food diary, weekends are not so great regarding the healthiness of my food choices, although my calories are still in line. Monday-Friday is better...not saying its great. I try to drink 64 oz of water a day and most days I achieve that or get darn close. I do a T25 workout every day. Some…

I AGREE!! I workout hard every day! I have energy to do it. I am not tired or worn down. I have added muscle so I am sure my body fat % had dropped. I just expect the scale to be moving in a downwards direction by this point.

No, No!! I started logging here on the 4th. But, I have been working out for a year. I have been counting calories for over a month! Don't assume that my journey started the day I joined myfitnesspal.
