  • Did Level 1, Day 6 today. It still kicks my butt, but it's starting to get slightly easier.
  • Check-in Day! March 1- 174 March 8- 169.8 March 15- 168.2 Not the full two pounds I was going for, but I will definitely take it!
  • The first few days are the hardest, but it will definitely get easier and will be worth it. I'm doing day 5 today, since yesterday was my rest day, but my husband already noticed more tone in my arms.
  • Great work! I just started the C25K today. I started on Week 4, because I've been using the treadmill for the past month and I'm hoping to do a 5K at the end of April. I'm just hoping to have my time under 40 minutes!
  • I think as long as you weren't disrupting others, then she needs to get over it. Yes, you're in her class, but you're paying for it. If you weren't already, I would suggest moving to the back or a corner so you don't confuse others. The first and only time I went to spin class, there was this loud, obnoxious guy pointing…
  • That's a great start! I keep wanting to do a 5k, but am too scared. Keep up the good work and let us know how it goes.
  • Nice work! I can't wait to get back down there. Mind if I add you?
  • Just finished Day 4! My arms feel like rubber, but the cardio portion doesn't even phase me anymore.
  • So after reading the responses, I got up and did my 30 Day Shred. My mood has improved a little. I think the endorphins are just now hitting me. Now I'm just waiting for my daughter to wake up from her nap and play with me. Nothing like chasing blocks and plastic balls around to cheer me up!
  • So, this might sound silly, but it works for me. If I ever feel like not working out or having a big bowl of ice cream after I've already reached my calorie goal, I go to the Success Stories message board and look at the progress other people have made and it encourages me to do what I need to, so that someday I can have…
  • It's a Jillian Michaels work out DVD. I'm only on day 2, but there are many people who have been on it for awhile and have really great results.
  • That is disgusting. Don't get me wrong, once I get down to my goal weight and switch to maintenance, I'll probably chow down on a normal burger occasionally, especially after my husband comes home. But to glorify it, and allow obese people to eat for free is terrible.
  • Once I get down to my goal weight,I do plan on keeping a few of my favorite things in my maternity bag, so when we try to have another baby, I'll be ready. But only the mid-sized things. Anything over a 10 or 12 will be out of here.
  • Yep, September 19th. I'm lucky enough to be able to talk like a pirate on my birthday!
  • You look great! And I love when people post pictures, because it keeps me committed to achieving the same kind of results. So keep them coming and keep up the great work!
  • Congratulations! That's amazing.
  • Just completed Level 1, Day 1. I just wanted to say thank you to this group, because it pushed me to finish the whole workout without stopping, Everytime I've tried to do it before, I would pause when it got too hard and then go back to it after I rested. Today, I was sore and sweaty and cursing Jillian, but I did it, and…
  • I just got my knee checked out today and got approval to train harder soI plan on starting tomorrow, so I will post measurements then :) Everybody feel free to add me and hound me every day to do it!
  • First official check-in! March 1- 174 March 8- 169.8 (I realize I could round up to 170, but I'm so tired of the 170's and am excited to start the 160's.
  • Celia, First go to tools and to the tracker section and it should let you get a code for your tracker. Then you'll come back to the message boards and go to the signature part and you can paste it there.
  • Hi all! I'm really hoping to be able to join this group either tomorrow night or Wednesday morning. I've had a bad knee since high school and I've heard that I'll have to be careful with this program. I have a Dr's appt tomorrow to see if I can get an all clear for my knee and if so, I can't wait to join you all!
  • Good luck everybody, you can do it! I wish I had seen this group last week. Before I joined MFP I would always get down to 171 or 172 and then Christmas or Vacation and I would shoot back up to 178. But the past few days, my scale has been between 169.4 and 170.6, so I'm hoping that by tomorrow, it will stay under that 170…
  • Army wife here, going through our first deployment. I'll add you! And anybody else can feel free to add me.
  • I know what you mean. I realize it's not exactly going to be a suprise since he sees me on Skype and makes me take tons of pictures with our daughter to send to him, but I still think it'll be a shock when he first puts his arms around me and can feel the change.
  • Joining the group late, but I'm in! I'll put my start weight now and then check back in tomorrow for my weigh in! March 1- 174
  • My husband is in Iraq and my short term goals are geared towards seeing him again. While I ultimately want to lose weight to be healthy, I'd like to impress him when he comes home on R&R and then further impress him when he comes home for good.
  • I started late at night on the 28th, so I still have a day left(lol), but I'm down 3 pounds since the 1st.
