  • Makes me so sad. I'm supposed to go to The Cheesecake Factory on Saturday for my friend's birthday. Looks like I'm going to be doubling up my workouts beforehand!
  • I'm only on week two, but I love it! It's hard. So very hard. But even in week two, my husband is already saying that he can see a difference. I haven't really lost substantial weight, but over an inch off my waist and half an inch off each thigh.

  • I'm a huge Buckeye fan and worked at the OSU Medical Center before moving down here to Texas. Feel free to add me.
  • Whole grain tortilla stuffed with egg whites, fat free cheddar, turkey bacon, and any veggies you want. I did this one morning and literally had to force myself to eat lunch because I was so full. (Yes, I realize you shouldn't force yourself to eat, but I'm doing Insanity and knew I would need more than a 300 calorie…
  • I had that realization a little while ago now that I've lost about 25 pounds (since October). Every time I pick up my 18 month old daughter I think about the fact that I used to carry that on my body all of the time. No wonder I was so tired.
  • Yeah. I'd like to clean up as much as I can, but with a very picky toddler, I doubt I'll be completely clean.
  • Mine is generally way off than MFP. I just ran 24 minutes and according to MFP it was something like 238 calories, but my heart rate monitor put it at 382. My treadmill had it 307.
  • I'll be completely honest. I still order take out pizza. But on days that I do, I'll work out an extra 45 minutes and drink an extra bottle of water. I lost 8 pounds in March and have lost 1.8 pounds since April 1st, so I honestly don't feel too guilty about it. My biggest thing is trying to control my portions. I'll eat…
  • A pound is 3500 calories. So 3500*50=175,000 175,000/62=2822.6 calorie deficit per day. Assuming you eat at least 1200 calories per day, that means you'll have to burn 4022.6 per day.
  • That's a deficit of over 2800 calories a day. Meaning you would need to burn 4000 a day if you plan on still eating.
  • I would be happy to be your friend, but isn't 50 lbs in two months kind of a dangerous weight loss? Especially when you're starting off under 200.
  • I plan on donating most of them, but I plan on keeping some of my nicer things for when my hubby gets home and we try for another baby. I don't want to have to buy more maternity clothes!
  • What works for me is that I fill up multiple water bottles the night before and stick them in the fridge. That way, when I go to get something to drink, I could either get out a glass and the bottle of Coke Zero and pour it, then put it back in the fridge or I can just grab a bottle of water and be done with it. It seems…
  • I wish I knew what to say. I've never really had a similar experience with binge eating. But I do wish you the best of luck. I realize it's not as easy as saying "just put down the snack", but if you ever need an accountability buddy, I would be happy to do that. The fact that you're admitting it's a problem is a good…
  • My husband's cologne. Sometimes I spray it on the pillow I cuddle with at night.
  • I'm training for a 5k at the end of the month. I used to run in high school, but I'm just now getting back on track. I'd like to do a 10k in August.
  • Jay! He works so hard and kind of got screwed over earlier in the season. I was so happy he came back and would love for him to win it.
  • Congratulations. I'm aiming for a 4/6, but that's amazing for you!
  • Final March check in: SW:174 CW:166 Not quite 10, but 8 is still awesome to me!
  • I'm back in! SW: 166 GW: 156
  • I have to eat my red meat! lol. Not only do I love it, but I have a tendency to get anemic and I'm allergic to nuts. I'm not a huge chips fan. My brother will bring them over occasionally and they'll sit in my pantry for months until I just throw them out.
  • I'm gonna try it!
  • I think the best thing that happened to me was playing high school soccer. Our school didn't have a girls' team, so I played on the boys team and when they were announcing the roster at an away game, they called me Richard. I guess it's close to Rachael...
  • So this may sound weird, but I am so jealous that you were able to keep the weight in the right places. lol
  • Do what you feel comfortable with and stretch, stretch, stretch! If you actually plan on doing a 5k, I may also suggest starting a little earlier than the 10 weeks, because your longest time running is 30 minutes and that would put you under a 10 minute mile, which is hard for a beginner. I started on week 4, but I don't…
  • I've only lost 6 lbs since I've been on MFP, but I've lost 16 since my husband deployed, so I decided to go with that number tonight. I can't believe how heavy it felt. Your husband is a smart man!
  • Yeah, I know what you mean, but I ran in high school so I have a general feel for what my body can handle. I woke up this morning and I'm not sore at all and my knee feels better than it has after a run in a long time.
  • March 1- 174 March 8- 169.8 March 15- 168.2 March 25- 167.6 Decided to switch my weigh in day to Friday. Not a great loss, but I was doing yard work/ going to Lowe's almost every day, which usually meant fast food and my body being too tired for exercise. But my front yard is completely done and I'm waiting for the back…
  • I was just coming on here to post this exact same thing! I have been doing the C25K and I'm only on week 5, so I was supposed to walk 5 minutes, jog 10, then walk 5 more. But then I started jogging. I got to 10 minutes and told myself if I pushed through for 2 more I would hit a mile. So when I got to 12, I said I could do…
  • Thank you. Are you doing the C25K or are you just training on your own? Good luck to you and feel free to add me and we can keep pushing each other.
