This makes perfect sense to me, thanks I was asking for this clarity on a different thread, I followed your calcs and the MFP recommended amount per day is my (BMR+Exercise levels)- 1000 = 2lb loss a week! woop! I can sleep at night knowing my organs are not wasting away! lol!
