Snowshoeing is hard work! Go for that. You can do it anywhere! Cross Country skiing is great if accessible. You can do this!!!

Appreciate the info. I do agree. I think I can do 2lbs a week, so more like 8lbs for December. I am guessing that some of this will be water weight as you stated. I am hoping the clean eating will kick things up too.

Sounds like you have some great goals Steve! You can totally do this thing. Get encouragement and accountability. I find that critical. Look at your strategy too. My kid brother lost over 100lbs doing Paleo eating and workout out 3x a week. Let me know if I can encourage you in any way :)

I used to be a supplement junky. I would read a fitness magazine or check out the latest craze and go buy that item. My wallet got lighter but not my body. My Goals: Work out 5x a week (cardio/swim/weights) Drink lots of water ~72 oz Work less hours Lead a more balance life Eat clean 6 days a week (clean is paleo style for me) Find a work out partner or some encouragement.

Count me in. Just started yesterday. I have 20 lbs to go and want it all gone by Jan. I am a huge proponent of clean eating.
