I use them for travel, and when I am on the go. If you can find them on sale, not bad. They are overall, not bad nutrition, but as JB said, much better to plan a good breakfast.

Quest are good. Expensive but good. There are others out there...I just have a hard time justifying $2.50 US for a bar. I have found them on sale once in a while...then they are a good deal

Hydration for sure. The more exposure you have to the altitude you are going to be at, the better. Everyone adjusts differently. Expect headaches, some nausea, but listen to your body. If you are feeling sick, go down...I have done a fair amount of high altitude climbs (>14K) and anything above 10k is something that you…

As most people know, California has had some serious rain. This is a local lake called Lake Pardee that is normally crystal clear and the water is brown. Still gorgeous!
