Still about 13 lbs to go

Kudos on the spectacular weight loss! I love your tattoos!!!7 -
I've lost the weight before and am back to lose what I've gained over the winter, so these pictures are a bit dated. Still, my height hasn't changed. I'm 5'6, in the first picture I was hovering around 180 (and that was before my two kids!). Second picture is after both of my kids, around 145 - I'm in the blue. Good luck to you!

Wow! Amazing!

Ah I wish someday I'm confident enough to share pictures with weight loss!!1

I'm 5' 6" and I've lost 12 recorded pounds since the beginning of march. I didn't have a scale the first week so it might be a little more. From 180+ to 168 and my goal is 135. I have a way to go, but I'm feeling successful so far.26 -

Hi, I am 5'6"
My results since Jan 7:
180lbs to 164, goal is 160lbs. May make a new goal after that but I am more fixed on reducing body fat percentage than losing lbs.

Only two months ago was the before pic taken. I do Daily Burn 5-6 times per week. Though I've not lost many pounds I've, obviously, lost inches.

January 2015: Before ... and actually, I gained a couple kg after that photo was taken and before I started with MFP (mid-February 2015).
April 2015: After losing about 10 kg ...
September 2015: Getting close to "after" ... not quite at my goal.
Easter 2016: I've been maintaining this weight since Christmas. 25 kg/55 lbs down!
Still considering dropping another 2 or 3 kg.
Well, I actually went up 2 or 3 kg ... but working on dropping that now.

I've posted these in some other topics, but here they are again since I'm 5'6.5".

I do a lot of walking and try to keep my calories around 1200/day. I also drink a ton of water.
Congrats on your weight loss!! You look great! Did you lose 10 pounds a month? I'm just curious because I have been doing everything as you did drinking ton of water, walking for excercise, and watching portions.
Thanks so much, @sabkhan32!
The first few months I lost quite a bit. When you dramatically change your habits, the weight comes off easier. After the holidays I struggled a lot and thought I plateaued. Looking back, I'm still losing, just not as rapidly as before. I weight myself daily, so I have a record of every month and my progress. lol There was a LOT of fluctuation in Jan/Feb.
Sept 1, 2015 - 225
Oct 1, 2015 – 207.4
Nov 1, 2015 – 198.2
Dec 1, 2015 – 188.4
Jan 1, 2016 – 177.4
Feb 1, 2016 - 174
March 1, 2016 - 169.8
April 1, 2016 – 164.2
Changing how you look at food helps tremendously. My two-question approach has saved my butt a lot during some difficult times:
Before you indulge in something that's not the healthiest ask yourself these two things:
1. Have I had it before? (If yes, I don't need it right now. If no, go to question 2.)
2. Can I get it again? (If yes, I don't need it right now while I'm reaching my goal - I'll get it again another time. If no, have it in moderation. If it's super special like an Iron Chef prepared 10-course meal, eat it all! lol)
I really like this. I have up chocolate, sugar and sweets 1.5 years ago. I still miss it. And sometimes I think I can fit it in my calories. But I know it's a trigger. It's easier to abstain than moderate. I figure it will be there when I lose 40 more lbs of I want it then. Same with a few other food favorites. When I identify a trigger food it's gotta go for a while.5 -
Congrats to you all!

Thank you! I'm honestly working to get that smaller, looking to lose about 2 more inches, but I'm happy with my progress2 -
I'm nowhere near done yet, but I finally hit my first major goal of 32 lbs lost! So excited!
I'm 5'7 and I started at 264 lbs. I'm 232 lbs now!

I'm 5'7! I don't have any pictures of me at my highest weight (210lbs) because I hated myself too much. Image on the left is me at about 190lbs. Other images are between 145-150lbs. I'm still not at my goal weight because the last 5-10lbs are giving me trouble (goal weight 135-140lbs) but I'm still so proud of what I've achieved!

just posted these, but this thread is super inspiring for me so i will share here as well. I feel like it is finally enough of a change that I could post "real life" pictures and see the difference (and maybe not look like a crazy person) but for now...

Wow that's amazing result in such short time. Congrats on job well done.
What diet and workout did you follow?
How many calories did you eat and how many did you burn with working out?
Did you eat the workout calories?
Sorry but I really need your input, kinda struggling here.8 -
@cosob I may have explained more in an earlier post, but I do 3 days a week of HIIT and hills on a stationary bike, and 3 days of strength training and steady state cardio. My diet consists of 50% protein 25% fat and 25% carbs. I allow myself as many treats as fit my macros but don't really cheat16
